J-E-T-S.....let's ruin the Perfect Titans record, no more INT's from brett, give the ball to T.J. more than often and work on the pass defense this week, if we can get that tightend up we have a great chance and beating these guys. Most intersting season for Jets fans in a while.

J-E-T-S as in Just Enjoying The Season!! It would be oh so cool, if the Jets can beat the Titans Sunday. It would make a BIG statement to the rest of the league. My brother who took my tickets when I moved, said if they have a home playoff game, I should get my tuchus to New York. I hope that is the case.

Hey Boland,
Maybe you can talk to Glauber for us and ask him where his article was in last friday's newspaper about how Pennington would have beaten New England also? If you see him around the office, ask him that would you please, thanks.

Jets have to score first vs Titans & avoid third and long. D must blitz, actually get the sack and avoid trying to coer rcvrs for 10 minutes! Pace is too slow to cover & Eric's decisions like no going for first down on 3rd and 2 or taking a timeout before last play vs Pats have to stop! You can't give an offense a free timeout in that situation (duh) unless you have the wrong D or a penalty situation (too many men on the field). Mayo's great, anyone see Gholston? This is a 1st rounder? What an embarassment! With Harris out we could use another player.

How are they going to get home field throughout playoffs? Even if they beat the titans they will still be 2 games behind them.. Plus the titans have houston/Cleveland/Detriot which means they will get to 13 wins. Jets are not running the table. Stupid article...

I'm not so sure about a 1st-round bye for the Jets. Denver will be tough for them, and if Buffalo can get it together, that's potentially a 3-3 final stretch.

Jets will have to do a better job of getting to the quaterback against the Titans than they did against the Patriots. Kerry Collins won't miss the open receivers that Cassell missed.

right. the article did say it would be in sight but it's a little early to tell.
even me, a pessimistic jet fan (a normal one), there not out until they're mathmatically out of the bye.

A bye is one thing they can get a bye just have to beat out Pitts. but to say home field throughout is just stupid.. They have no shot at that.. It would be miracle combined with an implosion from Tenn... In the End you can't trust Favre will go rest of the way without putting up a couple of bad passes that will haunt the Jets. He has been discplined but it wont last all year.

who said home field thruout??? the article???
if they get a bye and tenn loses in the second round to say the colts, pats or a healthy pittsburg, they certainly can....listen to me, i'm discussing the jets having home field thruout. i need my head examined.

A nice theory, but reality? Who would have thought that the Jets would be 7-3 and in sole possession of 1st place in the AFC East when the season started? IMO the only thing that can hold us back is the pass rush/pass defense. That aspect will have to improve to allow them to advance deep into the playoffs.
