After decades at the bottom of the NFL the wet rags won a game against NE posers for the first time in 6 years. Big deal, they will always suck.
Pats are beat up and the jests eeked out a lucky win. Let's hear from those scab fans after they have won another SB or done something worth talking about. 1969 was a looong time ago losers.
jets fn suck

Farve and the great acquisitions the Jets made in the offseason are paying off in spades. Sole possession of 1st place and the tiebreaker against all the AFC east. What a turnaround! Its the year of the Jets...

Thanks for Pennington, Brett. Your tiebreaker will be gone "KLN", when the Dolphins kick the crap out of the Jets in the next meeting.

Deep down, you know that ain't happening...the Jets have won 17 of their last 21, and five straight against Miami, now you're assuming that Chad will be able to out-throw those vicious late December winds in the Meadowlands (which is why he was dumped in the first place). Running against the NFL's fourth ranked run defense won't be much of an option either.

I give credit to Chad and the Dolphins coaching staff. They've been able to hide alot of holes and play above themselves due to good coaching and sneaky game planning. That being said, the Jets are the more talented team and barring injury should win the AFC East.

The Dolphins will probably finish their last games 4-3 at the worst. That makes them 9-7. Good enough for the playoffs? No. However a 5-2 finish gets them at 10-6. That may be enough for a wildcard.

The point is you don't have to hate on other team's success when there seems to be success in your own backyard.

Hey pffftttt
Actually it was the first time in two years. And with the AFC being so wide open this year, your Dolphins being a perfect example, a SB may not be so far-fetched. For instance, do you really think the 9-0 Titans are unbeatable? They may lose tomorrow to Jax who lost two weeks ago to the Bengals.
You need to get over yourself. It's a game. Talking about 1969 will not delete the fact that the Jets are in first place today. History is history. If mentioning 1973 would stop the 2008 Dolphins progress, I would of done so a long time ago. Will it last? Don't know. These next six weeks will be pretty interesting.
