This article cracks me up. Why is it that the Jets beat writers are always so negative, while the Giants beat writers go out of their way to soften their comments? Glauber writes that just when a team looks like they can't lose they do, and just when it seems like a team will never win again, they will (hence his belief that all is right in Giants world.) Yet the guys who cover the green and white see nothing but doom and gloom here. I seem to remember a Giants team that was left for dead last season. Who held the Lombardi trophy at the end? On perhaps the luckiest catch in Super Bowl history??

OK - maybe this win on Sunday was the luckiest at the Meadowlands since the Monday Night Miracle. But it WAS a win over a team that should have lost - and did (for a change). Let's hold off on the funeral and see what next week brings. That's why you play the games.

If the Jets were up 4 with 3 minutes left and ran the ball 3 straight times and punted(even if they had run the ball well all game), people would have abused the Jets for being too conservative. So know the Jets are supposedly handed a game because the Bills coach decided to try and surpise the Jets and win the game with a pass. Seamingly a good risk reward type of call, especially for a team that is not making the playoffs. But instead it's a gift because it's the Jets. The Jets still had to bring pressure to Losman, sack him, strip him, recover the ball and return it for a touchdown. Sure does sound like the Bills handed the Jets the win. Please. They played bad, but good teams find a way to win when they are playing well. Even last week, if that questionable hold on Leon's kickoff return is not called, the Jets win that game, even after being dominated the whole game. That's football. Stop saying they are lucky. They're 9-5 (which nobody thought they would be) and they beat Tennessee, New England, Miami, Arizona (all teams that will have double digit wins). It only takes one bad "win" to get back on track. Look at the Kansas City game.

What Wally is doing is preparing Jet fans for the inevitable. The eventual collapse of the team, and another year without the playoffs. Donít you wish you had Chad right now?
