That's right, silly Steelers - keep talkin' trash. You KNOW how that's going to work out, come sunday. You will spend all afternoon figuring out where things went wrong... In a gesture of poetic justice, I think you should all be required to take the bus back to Pittsburgh after the loss, so you can come to terms with the awful humility of getting drubbed by the Seahawks.

Seahawks and their fans won't know what hit em....Seahawks players have no idea what they are up against and cannot hide behind any 12th man in this game..I pity you!

I found Joey Porter's comment on sending Seattle Seahawks players "to the sideline" to "sound like" a veiled threat of injuring an opposing player on purpose. I find this disturbing and it makes me question the Carson Palmer injury. No...I don't believe it (the knee injury) was intentional. However, I believe that the combination of "hatred" and "over" aggressiveness transforms "the perception" of an NFL game into a street fight. Football by its nature is aggressive and rough. The NFL though has been very vigilant in recent years to update or create new rules to protect players from injury. For a player to make a comment that could be seen as an intention to play outside the rules is at least inappropriate and maybe even dangerous. For example, let's say that during the game Jeremy Stevens gets seriously hurt by a "clean hard hit" by Joey Porter who did "not" intend to injure "anyone". What then would be the "perception" of his earlier comments. I'm pretty positive that no matter how sincere he expressed that he did "not intend" to injure Mr. Stevens that the perception would always be that he did. That is why such comments are ill advised and maybe dangerous to the way people perceive the NFL,the Pittsburgh Steelers, and even Mr.Porter who now might be one hard hit away from forever being known as a "dirty player".

Rev: You are missunderstanding his comments. "tap them out" means for them to give up as in wrestling when you tap out, i.e. give up....

To Rev. Graham, you have no idea what Joey Porter meant when he said what he did. Stop trying to read into this "YOUR interpretation" of his quote. Go back to your house of boloney and pray for us sinners.

Well then THANK GOD for the three refs that "fixed" it for us. Wow, to think they cared THAT much about the "bust" (just ONE man on MY team), that they'd actually LET us win it!! I feel so honored...lol
