Thanks for the article, a little dramatic on the title and introduction, but nice that it was not off the wire. Had trouble finding anything last week about the blowout at Syracuse last but then that was a rare matchup of USF against a 90th something ranked team so I can understand.
Also, nobody can expect a win every week when you are playing competitive teams (ranked above 100th LOL). Those three games you highlight were exciting and close. Tampa fans get it, as shown by the +57,000 in attendance last night! Thank goodness there is a stadium available to hold that many fans.
Nice to see many players back from injury as well. It's hard to keep a healthy team when you play with the big boys.
Also, congrat's to FAU for playing UF yesterday. Good to see a team that does not backdown from game commitments.

Football Fan--I love how you can even turn this into a UCF bashing forum. You may not have mentioned us directly, however I'm not stupid and could pick up on the remarks. Aren't you the one who criticized UCF fans on their message boards for insulting USF? Funny thing is that you usually ask for it first...get a life.

Bulls back in charge of what? Certainly not their own destiny. LOL

Your veiled UCF insults are pathetic. No, you cannot get 57,000 obnoxious drunkards in BHNS, but at least it's on campus and the midfield UCF log doesn't get painted over after each game so that it can be replaced by the marker of an NFL bottom feeder.

Yes, USF and Texas are the only ranked teams we played this year. But national rankings did not stop USF fans from gloating about their wins over FAU and UCF, now did they? Didn't see you turning down those wins.

Please explain to me why UCF should continue to give UF an opportunity to boost their sagging football fortunes by running up the score on us year after year. Btw, why is it that USF doesn't want to continue its series against UCF, since you guys always honor your committments?

I don't think I mentioned UCF in my posting but to answer your question, the contractual commitment ends next year. I assume you are talking about this game:

Way to be the only bulls fan who cares! As far as not playing the big boys, we were playing fsu and and some SEC schools before the bulls stepped on a field. And before you start the whole "we've only been around eleven years and look where we are" rant think about where you are now. No better of than UCF. As for playing UCF, I could care less if we play you guys or any of the other so-so schools in the big east. You can fool yourself into believing the big east conference is still great, but when BC, Miami and VT left it was decimated. The only reason UCF isn't in the big east instead of usf is we turned down CUSA when they first extenede the offer. You guys jumped at the chance. At the time I was upset with the AD for the arrogance of passing up any conference affliation. In retrospect, I am glad we have followed the path we are currently on, one that teaches our players and fans to be appreciative of the wins and success we experience. As for usf, I hope they keep acting arrogant and like they have accmplished so much, the higher you build youself up the farther you will fall.

Of course you did mention UCF...you "indirectly" mentioned UCF throughout your entire drivel. Every Sunday morning you wake up and the first thing you do is log onto the Orl Sentinel online and search the pages for anything UCF related. Then you try to pollute all of these comment threads. Your obsession with UCF is pathetic.

hmmm, I like the Special Olympics line. NEWS FLASH UTEP lost Saturday and should move downward in the rankings from 95th to below 100! I smell another UCF blowout, whoo hoo, wait, I just forgot to flush. Anyway UTEP is comin on strong!

Forget UTEP! They're as good as beaten. Hey, they may be a duck at this point, but they're in our conference and therefore, considered to play at our level.

When UCF schedules out of conference, we put in opponents from ACC & Big East. We don't schedule ducks like Western Kentucky, Troy or FAU. Flush that...

Miami will be fine in a few years, maybe even next year. It was great when USF played them in the Orange Bowl last year. There is a lot of history there it will be missed.

Watch out RORSCHACH you are going to hear now that you must have a super duper staium of your own now. People have trouble with concept that if you are filling a 67,000 seat stadium in your home town (Tampa) do you need another 67,000 seat stadium in town? I am sure it is the same for Miami. If you only need something smaller then you add to the giant area stadiums like the Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
