Tennessee would have trouble scoring against a HS Team so starters or not Indy can certainly win - first one to 20 wins.

It's a shame that the Browns have to be concerned about who Dungy plays on Sunday. They put themselves in this predicament. I say let subs play in the 4th quarter. They may surprise us. I am hopeful that we can see a win by the Browns and a lost by the Titans. Go Browns. If they don't make the playoffs I will root for the Jaguars, since I was born in Florida.

Dungy announced his intent before the Cleveland - Cincinnati game, sending an implied message to the Browns or any other team affected by the Colts - Titans game. Take care of your own business. The Browns did not. All they can hope for is gift. I don't want to see them in the play offs until they learn to show up for every game, the whole game.

The Titans will win in a breeze with the Colts resting all their starters. Too bad Browns & Browns fans. You had your chance for the playoffs, and Bungaled it last Sunday. You'll be watching on your big screens in your theater rooms again this season.

GO STEELERS - make that 3rd seed with a win then on to the Super Bowl !!!

I'm a Colts fan, and nobody but Bill Parcells and myself seem to realize that the Colts could've rested the whole team this past Sunday against the Texans as well, and they didn't. The Colts are going to try to win, there's no doubt about it, because they learned in 2005 how quickly rest becomes rust. However, Tennessee is a physical, hard-hitting team that's surely going to bring their A game this Sunday, and the Colts aren't going to do much against them if the game starts becoming too expensive in terms of injuries. Tony Dungy, Tom Moore and

That being said, the Browns would have a much better chance in the playoffs than Pittsburgh will... lacking Willie Parker, who isn't even that good to begin with, the Steelers are a one-n-done who won't survive wild card weekend. Mark my words, the Steelers are not going to luck out this time and go to the Super Bowl.

Addendum: My message above should read, "Tony Dungy, Tom Moore and Ron Meeks will develop a solid game plan that relies heavily on Jim Sorgi, the Colts backup QB who's been studying under one of the best quarterbacks in the game."

DA needs to play atleast the first half because of last week. A couple of TD's off some nice drives to get the confidence for the playoffs. If he dosen't play at all- it's a definite one and done a week later.

Steelcurtain74: if the Stillers are so good, what happened in the playoffs last year? Oh, that's right-- the whole Pittsburgh team was sitting at home watching on TV. You're the Buccaneers of the AFC and you know it... better enjoy those 5 rings,'cause there ain't no more comin' for a long time!

Carolina has two huge, youngish and unhappy DL they may be putting on the market, one who was drafted by Savage for Balt and another who has been a Pro Bowler but hasn't yet played in a 3-4: Maake Kemoeatu and Kris Jenkins. Perhaps the off-season shopping should begin in Charlotte, with an ILB the Round Two pick.

I couldn't disagree with you more about playing Quinn. In fact I think it is a Travasity detrementual to the future of our team that during the course of this year Quinn has not been spotted into some games not for a half or a Quarter but just for a series every other game or so....

WHY:

1) We need to know how good he is...Can he replace Anderson when/if he goes to free agency ...Is he better then Anderson..He was in pre-season but the real NFL games are much faster...can he handle it.

2) The coaches need to know his strengths and weakness's So they can work with him to get him ready if he is to be our future.

3)If Anderson goes down...What then? Play a QB without one second of NFL experience ...What if we make the playoffs and Anderson goes down this week?

4) Quinn needs to knock off the Rust

5) This is a nothing game.. as such Quinn and Harrison and some of the other guys should play because they need playing time and FOR THE FANS who would love to see a big dose of Quinn and Harrison...Together.

It is in the best long term interest of the team for these men to play....

Has anyone heard what happens if both the Browns and the Titans lose. I assume the Titans still make the playoffs?

I for one do not share your optimism that the Titans can "breeze" against the Colts backups. Granted they should but their history of late is to fall short in areas where the "should" do something.

TitansFan, amazingly enough, if both teams lose the browns go -- record against conference foes is the (i think) second tiebreaker, and the browns would have a better one because of the titans' conference loss against the colts. obviously i'm rooting for the colts, but good luck to you guys -- a good team with good fans.

just the same, i was reading up on how they used to do it, and they didn't rely on tiebreakers: they had a one-game playoff. wouldn't it be cool if they both had 9-7 or 10-6 records and they just had a playoff? then we'd know who deserved to go. i know, impossible with schedules and so forth, but a dream is a dream...

There are problems concerning money today, especially if someone thinks they aren't getting their fair share of it. Mars turns retrograde in your house of public matters, so issues from the pat will need to be dealt with in weeks to come. Sort things out quickly, before they become even more fraught.
