Browns Cut 23 Players from the Roster - WJW

Jamal Lewis hasn't run out of time with the Cleveland Browns. The veteran running back, who was believed to be in danger of not making the team's opening-week roster, survived cuts on Saturday as Browns first-year coach Eric Mangini released 23 players but declined a chance to name his starting quarterback.

gonna wish you let Lewis go!!!!....He's done!!! He's not an outside runner and you can see he isnt playing like we need him to,should have been gone long ago...better get something while you can.

i can't believe they kept Ratliff, he looked horrible every time he played. then again, i guess since Mangini brought him... Bartel looked much better

I can't believe the Browns cut Marcus Benard. He is an exciting young linebacker who gave a spark to the defense every time he was on the field. I'm not saying this because I'm biased, but it seems like every time he took the field, he made things happen, in a good way for the Browns. I had plans to be a Brown's fan, but these silly changes every year, no matter who the head coach is, drive me crazy. Good Luck next year Browns.
