let me put it this way, mcgloin is a "pocket" (qb) right? he probably completes a better pass than pryor. "probably" i said, cause we don't really know? but, if mclovin had just a lil bit of pryor?(movement), just a lil bit? we'd probably have a future (qb) in mcgloin. in other words, pryor?, just set your feet down to pass! then again? it's been 8 games of the same cra, stuff! hope you didn't blow your chances! coaches have been patient, you got extra training and extra training outside of the org. it's helped, but, nothing has really payed off! you run great though?

Pryor to me was doing a little too much of buying time to try to pass the ball. In previous games, he would have tucked the ball and run when nothing was open after 5 seconds. He made some good passes, but he just seemed to want to only pass when the play broke down.

When a qb is gifted with strong running skills it usually becomes their first train of thought. So all other decision making skills suffer. It works fine in high school and college. But when playing at the NFL level there is too much talent to think you can rely on run first without strong passing and decision making skills. That is why I have always felt like a running qb is not good choice to build a team around.

Both are not impressive....McGloin only completed half his passes as well...defense was simply disgusting....

I actually saw something I didn't expect yesterday. It almost looked like Chip Kelly called off the dogs after Foles threw his 7th TD

I can give a pass on the D performance. They have played well all year. I think the eagles had a good game plan and executed. We came out flat and didn't make necessary adjustments. Hayden got burned. It was obvious he was out matched. They should have put in a back up safety and move woodson to his spot. He would have slowed that hot spot. Coaching needs to build our mental toughness. When the opposing team starts to make plays we crumble. I also think we need a qb. Give mcgloin another shot. But all those that think Pryor is the answer is making the statement you are accepting of mediocre at best. Not a slam on Pryor more a slam on the "running qb" .

YES you are exactly right, "the eagles had a good game plan and executed". the RAIDERS played well over all. they just got beat! but their game plan just didn't work against the eagles. it was a good game plan. you can see it was. i mean, even terrele pryor did ok. the eagles offense is picking up their tempo the RAIDERS were beat physically and mentally. our (D) even played decently good. it don't matter what change and adjustments RAIDERS made. the eagles had their plan, and it worked! things will go back to normal even if we lose to the giants. but at least i can say, we have a chance against them. i now i sound crazy (lol). the only thing that can make a difference with playing the rest of the games is if, the RAIDERS bloated hearts were deflated by this loss. but if it wasn't. we continue to play as we were.

Can anyone explain how the defense played decent.....I must be missing something...

Foles 406 yards, 7 TDs 158.3 passer rating

Eagles 128 yards rushing total

Without a doubt! For a couple reasons. We are rebuilding and anyone who thought we were going to be consistent this season had unrealistic expectations. Also the D has played better all season than most thought. Given we are in rebuild mode we can have a bust game and give it a pass.

That makes sense then....but I still would state they played decent...it was awful that game, no where near decent...

I don't look at Pryor first for yesterday's embaressment. I look at either the defense or Tarver directly. They could not do anything to stop the "mediocre players scoring touchdowns" train. Riley Cooper? Really? Foles did his best Eli Manning impression, looking to make his trademark on the league by becoming the most mercurial QB of all time.

No surprise, but No defense(what did we force maybe 2 punts the whole game?), no running game until Kelly put his backups in, and our tackles would struggle blocking me.

Sure, Pryor didn't play well, but i really don't have much expectations for the guy, just hope. Hope like i had for our D and RB's. Just about all of that was shattered and pissed on Sunday. That was painful to watch.

UMM, hayden screwed it up! i saw him!(lol). the RAIDERS played their game on (D) they knew in their mind what it took to beat the eagles. the eagles just play different than any team in the nfl. they showed it. they make other teams defenses look silly. and they are going to continue to do that throughout. watch this game against the giants, and the RAIDERS will go back to looking normal, you know? with a decent (D) good game plan. even if we lose the game. it's going to be a regular football game. after you see that, you'll know what i'm talking about. and?, the eagles will beat green bay. okay you can laugh now!
but, it will happen.

Stop confusing me (which isn't too difficult to do, lol)...so what you meant when you said they played decent in the eagles game is that they actually didn't but will vs the Giants...
