shockey will go for one reason, he intimidates qb peyton manning so much that it has an negative effect on manning's performance. cant belive hes afraid of him but he is. manning stil does not have the testicular fortitude to lead all members of the team.

The Giants have a history of discarding malcontents. Buddy Dial and Joe Don Looney are two that readily come to mind. Shockey may soon join Dial and Looney in Giant history and from the way it sounds it won't be soon enough.

Back-to-back posts by Bucky Bolin and Homer Jones, it doesn't get any better than that. Homer Jones remains my all-time favorite Giant. I wish he were playing under today's hand's-off the receiver and no contact after five yards downfield rules. With his speed and power, he'd be unstoppable. "Tarkenton throws long to Homer Jones, touchdown, Giants." I can still hear Jack Whitaker's voice on CBS' broadcasts on Sunday afternoons. In those days, Massachusetts got all the Giants' games televised because they were still considered this area's (NFL) home team. Good times.

He should try catching the ball with his big mouth. Maybe he would't drop so many passes.

Shockey's a huge weapon but he and Rosenhous are playing a bad game of poker. Reese will dump him very soon if he continues this childish behavior. I just don't understand why he wants off such a young team. Eli's only going to get better. I think he's going to regret this play.

The guy is an imature, arrogant, spoiled brat. If these last few months were not a wake up call, nothing will be. At a time when should just shut up, work hard, and be a team player, all he has shown is that he hasn't learned a thing.

I'm sure there would be some team that would take a shot with him at the right price, but who wants someone like this in the huddle or the locker room?

Hey Jeremy, GROW UP!

Why does he want off the team? Because his ego can't handle the fact that they won the Super Bowl without him. His ego tells him that he's underpaid, that Eli should always throw him the ball, that nothing is his fault. The guy is bad news, despite all his talent, and he will never learn.
