I hope two things come from this Superbowl.
First, I hope we never hear the name Katrina again! Enough already!!!!! Get over it and GET ON with it! Now you die-hard fans can actually remove the bags over your heads.(all 150 of you)! Of course, they'll be millions of closets fans coming out now and claiming to be fans---at least for one year.
Secondly, I hope all these sports commentators will finally stop trying to label Manning as the "best" quarterback in NFL history. With the God given talent he has and the talent that he's been surrounded by during his years as a Colt, he should have at least 4 rings by now! None of the greats deserve this title and Manning isn't even "one of the greats".
I agree about the greatest label tom brady has three rings and he is still playing ,if anybody deserves that label it would be joe montana who has 4 rings.

Cry baby Manning didn't even have the decency or professionalism to say anything to any of the Saints team for a job well done.

Exactly! He stormed off the field without shaking the hands of the Saints players. You Colts fans need a paper bag over your faces after Manning's unsportsmanlike display of disrespect.

I'll gladly hand down our bags for you Colts fans after Peyton's display of disrespect & unsportsmanlike conduct by storming off the field, not shaking hands of the Saints players, you've earned them.

As for Katrina, you will never ever stop hearing about America's worst national disaster, be it in sports, history books, etc. you will hear it. This Saints victory will do wonders for the moral and rebuilding of the people from the Who Dat Nation.

Regardless of your disrespect I pray you never have to go through what the people affected by this hurricane had to go through and still are, 5 years later. God Bless.

Unsportsmanlike conduct, is that what you call Williams' comments about hitting Peyton? If we're going to analyze and call out poor conduct, please let us not leave a stone unturned.
The katrina story is old and used. I lost all respect for your qb after his comment, "i felt like we were entitled to win" concerning the Dallas game. Almost appears that you folks feel "entitled" to anything you please because of katrina. Maybe you are, I'm sure the gub'ment would have already gave you a superbowl victory if it were possible but some things have to be earned. peace

Why should he , he knows the saints backed into the Superbowl.
Yeah, and your boys backed their butts right into the Vikings. If you knew anything about football, you would know that if anybody has backed into the playoffs it's the NFC east.

Maybe they (nfl) should fine Peyton $20,000 for early exit, you know, like they fined you're defense for a late hit on Favre that wasn't called on the field during the game. How many late hits did your boys get on Favre that wasn't called? Is that considered unsportsmanlike conduct, desperation or just the "game". Save your paper bags, you'll be needing them again.lol

The last time I checked it doesnt matter what you do in the regular season, its what you do in the playoffs that count. As for backing into the playoffs every year some team gets in on the last day and takes advantage of the opportunity.A lot of people need to stop living in the past, super bowls won back then dont matter its all about what have you done lately.

Peyton Manning the NFL MVP walks off the field not shaking the hands of the Saints tells me many thing about this poor sportsman. All young athletes in midget football, pop warner baseball, hockey leagues, and basketball courts are taught to shake hands after the game. The winning team has something to stay on the field for, the losing team shows character.....if we expect this of our children emulating their role models in professional sports Manning proved how much of a sore loser he is, he does not deserve the MVP.

Secondly, he should have stayed on the field because he was raised in New Orleans, this is his hometown, he should have been supportive of the city of New Orleans and their phoenix like rise to smile once again. Once more it was all about Peyton.

I am very tired of all the sportwriters and individuals that blow smoke up Mannings butt when he wins a game, but when the Colts lose a game everyone else are blamed for poor coaching, recievers missing and dropping the balls, linemen missing assignments, etc....all of a sudden it's not Peyton's fault. The media gives so much attention to painting Manning as great, and you can't take his records away, but he is surrounded by great recievers, who do not get half the credit for making Manning look this good.

Lastly, Drew Brees should have been the NFL MVP, coming back from an arm injury that most NFL teams didn't want to take a chance on him, he took a team that was not suppose to be a contender in the NFL this year all the way to the Super Bowl and won, and throughout all this, he lost him mother during this season.

Stop giving Manning NFL MVP's before the season is over. How many Super Bowl rings does this NFL 4 time MVP has? Why was he selected as the MVP?

34 to "F'ing 3. In a playoff that everyone was predicting the "hot" Romo was going to shine. You guys never learn and you're already talking about next year's superbowl. You guys are funny.
Good seasons can go to hell, cause as the Colts , the Jets, the Ravens, the Cryboys and the Vikings all learned: "IT DON'T MEAN A THING, IF YOU AIN'T GOT THE RING'!

Stick to reality. The Saints will be no more known than the Ravens 1 superbowl or Tampa. Think quickly, when did they win? Exactly. As for stopping Manning??? get real. The Saints did gimmick plays knowing that Manning would walk down the field on 1st possession the 2nd half, which he did, just not as planned. The int...I watched the WR on that slant. The idiot didn't finish the route and was confused. Brees is great, don't get me wrong. People said the same thing about Manning before he finally beat the Pats and then the Bears. This is a bad bad man. He will be back.BOOM

Give credit where credit is due coaching decisions put teams in positions to win be it a on side kick or any thing else.Saints offense kept manning & co. on the sideline. On any given day anybody can win remember what happehed two years ago the saints deserve it they played better bottom line.

I agree cryboy fans cant admit defeat or be happy 4 any other team that wins. All they have is the cryboys they nothing to look forward to till spring training rolls around. How many times did you hear cryboy fans say i dont care who wins the super bowl or im not gonna wacth the rest of the playoffs cause the cryboys are out.thats how pathetic their lives are.
