Just another reason the Colts are so succesful. Manning and Saturday have a "connection" that's hard to find. You rock, Jeff!!

Go Colts!
Beat the Titans!

Manning and Saturday, simply the best in the game today! Indy is fortunate to have them both! Great article Phil.

I don't think they are going to beat the Titans, Dungy already said Manning is not playing any longer than the half.
Plus what does it say about our conference (if the Titans win) we have 3 teams from the AFC south in the Playoffs. Colts, Titans, and Jags

Great Job Colts!

Jeff Saturday seems like a great guy, let alone an effective PRO BOWL center!
Gotta love his commercial with the little girl at the doctor's office.
Hopefully Manning & Saturday will together throughout their carrers!

I've wanted a Marlin Jackson jersey for a long time but balked at spending $85.00 for a shirt.....any shirt. I love Jackson as a smart, hard hitting player who doesn't get enough pub, and would always look for his jersey, but couldn't justify paying out the money for it.
A friend took pity on my conflict and gave one to me for Christmas. Now I'm hooked. I wear it constantly and I'm sure my wife is already tired of seeing me in it.
I'm on the look out for my next one. I wasn't sure who to get. I like touting the player who others don't always think of. Now I know.
I'm in the hunt for a Jeff Saturday jersey. This time I'll even spend my own money on it.

What's it say about him? Honest, upstanding, realistic, focused on the big picture and an experienced Superbowl winning coach. Something NY doesn't wave anywhere in its state boarders.

I really like Jeff Saturday (as well as Peyton) and think he is a class individual. He and Peyton work well together.

Congrats to the Colts for going to repeat this year.. I hope the pats beat the giants and go 16-0 so they can lose in the playoffs.. not that I am pats hater but they play in a division were they are the only team above .500 and after all the injuries the colts have faced and still keep on winning hats off.. as a steeler fan I have a whole new respect for the colts..

I had always enjoyed Phil Richard's work on golf for the Star.. Now, his reporting for the Colts is just as top-notch.
It's nice to see that our man Saturday, toiling superbly at maybe THE most under-appreciated position, is now consistently honored as a Pro-Bowler..
As testimony to this position's anonymity, there can't be very many centers in the HOF (Jim Ringo ?, Mick Tinglehoff ??)..

We're fortunate enough to have some "lock" HOF'ers on the team, and at least one "maybe" based on questionable longevity (Sanders)..

So -I pose the Question: Shouldn't it be time to at least consider Jeff Saturday as a potential Canton inductee ??

If not Saturday, then who is/has been better ?

Is this guy serious? What it is saying is when there are three teams in the playoffs from the same division and the best of them have been injury ridden all year and are still the best.. I think it means that he is a great coach maybe roger should step in and give tony an award..

A nice article and well-deserved tribute to comparatively unheralded Jeff Saturday.

I know you guys are slow out there but what I am saying is this is not wrestling....you play to win...not stage who is getting in the playoffs.

Pursuit of Perfection is everywhere on ESPN.

I hope we see Perfection this season.

That would mean the Pats go 17 - 1 with their loss being to the Colts in the AFC Championship Game for the second year in a row.

Now that would be Perfection.

It's a shame that the Jags are probably going to ruin that party. The Jags are going to beat the Pats before the Colts get a shot at them.
