I believe the Buck-In-Ears fortunes will change as soon as they go back to the creamsickle / Bucco Bruce uniforms.
As for Chucky Gruden,----- pound this !

Derrick - we love you and always will but at 36 - I think it's time to retire. Clayton and Stevens - see ya and Bryant - come back to earth, resurrection doesn't come in a year. We need a new QB, Caddi's needs to be traded in for a smooth running less expensive Chevy. Barber made some good plays but he made too many bad ones too and that O line started off good but in the end had more wholes that a full box of fruit loops. Change needs to come.
Good evaluation, but you neglected to mention getting rid of the enabler that orchestrated that band of sour note players... bye Chuckie.

If Chuckie stays, the names will change, but they'll be playing the same scoresheet... without Monte on the drums.

If the owners won't spend money it doesn't matter. Maybe thats part of the reason Gruden has used the team for a halfway house, the turds are cheap.

Think they'll spend any of that 46 mill on a pass rusher or run stopper? Hey, I know ...maybe a DB that can tackle.

Gruden will be seen riding around One Buc Place on his new Hybrid motorcycle until mini camp in the spring.

This collapse was the worst thing I have ever seen.... when December hit its like our Defense went on Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase..... I understand if the Glazers keep Gruden a little longer but someone should pay for this I mean im still in utter shock at what happened.... Its tough to be a Buc sometimes...

I love Garcia and all but we need to hope and pray that we find a QB in the draft if only Stafford would be available when we pick 19th or we trade up or something thats what we need a Franchise young QB like Atlanta got with Matt Ryan....

We also should toss mad money towards trying to get Haynesworth away from Tennesee WE NEED PASS RUSH!!

Am I the only person who thinks that Gruden won that Super Bowl with Dungy's foundation in place? The way Dungy was treated was ugly, particularly when one considers his integrity and character. Gruden hasn't done anything noteworthy since that first year. He may have "kicked in the door" to win that Super Bowl but I'd say that he only finished what Dungy began. Since that time, I don't think he's done anything too original of his own. And Dungy just keeps on winning, integrity and character in place.
Nope you are not the only one. We actually moved her a year ago from Tampa so we followed the team. I followed them so close that when Dungy went to Indy so did I. My husband stayed faithful to the Suckaneers but he is question his choice. Especially since Gruden broke up what really made up the bucs - Lynch, Juravicious (sp?), Sapp etc. Your comment hit the nail on the head

If the 2002 Bucs team was Dungy's, the logic applies that the Oakland team that year was Gruden's. So he's undeniably a legitimate Super Bowl winner.
Except Oakland lost the Super Bowl. It's time for Gruden to go.

Let's remember Oakland was at a huge disadvantage, with Gruden having written their play-book and knew all the tendencies and weaknesses of their quarterback.

During the early Gruden years, I resisted the implications of it being a Dungy team that won. But seriously, hasn't Gruden had enough years with one of the best defenses in the NFL watching his back, to prove he just isn't an elite coach?

Now Monte's gone; Katey bar the door!
