John Henderson: Starter Or Camp Body?

Bear with me here. I know that this may sound like the most ridiculous thought you've ever heard, but there is a slight chance that John Henderson could be cut after training camp.

It's similar to the Greg Ellis situation last year. Ellis was productive, but after his injury Matt Shaughnessey proved he could get the job done. I think the Raiders are hoping that Bryant and/or Heard will do the same behind Henderson. I still wonder if Joseph will make the team ahead of Heard and Heard will start the season on the practice squad.

Because of his size, Heard will be given every opportunity to make the team. Personally, I am not as impressed with Bryant as the coaching staff (he gets pushed around due to his lack of his size). Joseph is an older player and it may work against him, but I think he is better than Bryant. Interestingly, wasn't Joseph with the Giants and the new D-Line coach let him go?

I like Desmond Bryant as a rotational playler like we did with Rod Coleman. The fact that Mike Waufle let William Joseph go when they were with the Giants is the reason why I wonder if Joseph will make the team ahead of Heard.
