Griese is a Pro. Not always a very good, on-the-field Pro but he is a Pro. If more people had his hard work ethic and dedication, the world would be a much better place.

P.S. I still hope the Bears pound him and the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Griese has always been a class act. I personally think anyone who can complete 70% of his passes, like he does, deserves to be a starter. So I am glad to see him finally get this chance to start for Tampa. Chicago coaches treated him pretty stupidly, when he was winning Player of the Week honors.

Yeah for sure I wish this guy was still our QB! He was the best out of all three and now with a running game Griese could really have shined. Oh well, go Bears, good luck Brian but not too much luck, and yes, bring back the Honey Bears!

Many bears fans thought Griese sucked last year. I wasn't one of them....if you took away the two Detroit games, he actually played well. It was one team that owned him last year.
When Griese had that 2 minute drill....and admitted he did all of the play calling, it was further proof that Turner shouldn't be calling all of the plays.
Let the Qbs call the plays.

Nice to see that there were other Griese fans in this town besides me! His drive against Philly last year was amazing! Griese sure got the shaft from the coaching & management...

Oh well, he's on the other side now, so I hope he enjoys the taste of grass at Soldier Field!

you guys need to be ashamed of yourselves Griese was supposed to be the Verteran stabling factor and he came in and made the exact same mistakes as Rex how many time can you throw a int in the endzone dude just didn't have the arm on most of them. He got a pass if you ask me you woulda roasted Rex for the same mistakes and about his player of the week award heck Rex was player of the month and stats would been much better if Lovie wouldn't have sat him in the 4th quarter of most of those games Admitt it shoulda stuck with kid and stopped blaming him for the whole teams drop off

Although I didnt really like the play of Griese. Those two Detroit games would have gotten us in the Playoffs last year. The guy is a Class Act,a great guy! His hard work & dedication are admirable. He was a good Team mate as well.I do have alot of respect for him,he does try hard.I believe he is a good back up at best though.I am sure Grudens Huge Ego,gets in the way of his decision making at times.Thats ok by me though.I am sure Griese is nervous about facing a great Babich lead Defense! I like what Babich has done with our "D" this year.Rivera never took advantage of the weapons he had.He didnt utilize his linebackers like he should have.Rivera never game planned his opponents or made adjustments very good.Thats probably why Rivera is still only a Linebacker coach now! Babich never had a healthy Defense last year to work with.I finally lost respect for Rivera, after he gave up 430 yds in the Super-Bowl that costed us the game.At least the Bears were smart not to re-sign him! Our Defense has a good opportunity this week to generate some sacks,& hopefully some turnovers as well. When our Offense starts clicking,we will be a very Dangerous team! The Offense is new,& should improve as the season goes on.Lets go Bears! I predict the bears win 20-10.Take care Everyone. God Bless! BEAR DOWN!!! GO BEARS!!!
