Garcia didn't play like "vintage McNabb". He played like vintage Garcia.

I am a 49er faithful and a Jeff Garcia fan, the Philadelphia Eagles are very fortunate to have the talents of Jeff Garcia to back up McNabb, I always thought it was a big mistake for the Niner's to get rid of Jeff, Eagles fans just think of one thing at this point in the season, "Playoffs" Jeff Garcia will lead the Eagles there this year, remember this guy is a Pro bowler and a great athelete, there are many teams in the league that would welcome his talents right now. I wish he was still a Niner.

Go Jeff, you can do it. You are still a top Q.B. in the NFL, everyone in California is rooting for you, and you are missed in the San Francisco line up. Keep up the good work.

I agree with Dan above. A year ago I was fantasizing about the Igs getting a backup in the offseason like Jeff G., and I couldn't believe it when he actually signed. The Stamps' Garcia inflicted lots of damage on my beloved Argos, and like Flutie was lots of fun to follow in the NFL. I love Donovan, but it is a real treat to watch Jeff now do his stuff for the Eagles. Fortunately for him the O-line is giving him a chance; if only the defence would do the same.

Donovan is why we lost T.O now they to rid the team of Donovan who thinks of himself an not the team.He thinks he a pocket passer & not a running QB because he's black.Show him what happend to Vick's record in the games he fail to run in. Running the ball isn't a black thing.IT's needed to win a game.If he can't run lets run him out of philly.Garcia is what needs to be done to win.

Y'all Eaglet fans are some of the most fair-weather fans I've ever seen. When Five is playing (well), he's the best thing since sliced bread. But as soon as ANYTHING goes wrong, it like "phuk him, we don't need him"! We'll see how much you love Garcia when he gets his ass handed to him and he throws a few ill-advised picks. Don't forget-PHI beat a soft Carolina team and the sorry-ass Deadskins-and were actually fortunate to beat them.

one of the problems with Donovan as opposed to other quarterbacks is that too many times he waits too long for his receivers to clear and he dances around too much. Many times a gaping hole opens up but he will not take off. I'm sure that a million fans are screaming --RUN-Damn it- RUN. And sometimes you got to thread the needle. just throw the ball to the guy the play was designed for.
at least, Garsia does it more often than not. I believe Garsia will get an extended contract especially since Donovan has become accident prone.
we shall see, won't we?

I'm a lifelong Patriots fan, now living in the Bay Area of CA. But I'm also a big Jeff Garcia fan. The 49ers made a big mistake in letting him go. This guy is the real deal. Dont be surprised to see him lead the Eagles deep into the playoffs. Major name QBs are not immune to release. Everyone thought Drew Bledsoe was the Larry Bird of the Patriots. Then he got injured and a guy named Brady filled in.

Pure talent, PLEASE! This guy has been passed around like a joint the past few seasons. The only reason he's there is because he blows Morninwhig and Reid! He is a prototypical West-Coast QB; a system QB, nothing more.

Just another guy from the Bay Area sending love to garcia. I am a HUGE eagles fan right now. Garcia is a gutsy player who got hosed by our lame ownership. The niners should have never let him go. The only thing that can stop the eagles now are the saints.... Good Luck Jeff!

Eagles fans, enjoy this year. You are blessed with a great QB!

Jeff is a good steady QB. He couldn't hold up that no INT string he had for too much longer, oh well.
He's a great guy. Has too much class to stick it ti Owens, hey did Owens even play today LOL, oh ya, caught one.
When Jeff was up here in Calgary 8 - 9 yrs ago, If you would be patient enough to hang around an hr or so after the game he would always give to some time and say hi you your kids, and that we'll always remember about him.
Good luck in the play-offs Eagles, from a fan from Canada.
