I say that Mangini ought not be fired for the Jets missing the playoffs be that to him and Brett Favre's playbook unfamiliarity, they need more time to gel. However, I do believe that after the first 5 games or less of the 2009 season, should be enough of an indicator for owner and management team to make their decision to have either Mangini and or Favre stick around!
