lets here from all you irish diehards/ charlie said he wouldn't lose to mich state again. he must have one heck of a crystal ball. no running game. sure jimmy doesn't have many sacks this season, he throws the ball away. the offensive line still breaks down. these guys are not that good, what will save them this season is they have dumbed down the schedule. bring on slippery rock!!

Yay. I'm tired of ND. I'm tired of them being constantly overrated. I'm tired of the ridiculous exclusive tv contract. I'm tired of the obnoxious fans.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

All all-you-can-eat restaurants in the South Bend area are on high-alert for Charlie Weis sightings. Instructions are to lock down said facility upon sighting.

Ole front-butt has to go.

Chet Coppock actually said a couple weeks ago that ND would be better 'cause "their schedule is easier this year."

Unbelievable!

just like the bear game last week, when you give the ball away in the red zone you lose most of time. Pick in the end zone, fumble on ten, and lost another first down on the ten on a motion penalty. Three seniors starters showed today, Floyd, Tate, Kamara, Rudolph, and Clausen (three soph. and 2 freshman).

Bi-polar Irish? One of the biggest jokes in sports is team basing their performance on won-loss alone rather than considering who was played. If a tean won, they played well and did everything right- even though they may have been playing the Little Sisters of the Poor. When they lose, it's because they made key mistakes at the wrong time, not because the other team was better. Notre Dame played mighty San Diego State the first week and struggled. Then they played a down Michigan team and did not dominate. They finally played a decent team and got hammered. So let's call them for what they really are instead of the Chicago media love for ND no matter what.

In today's tribune, under the nd "game stats", they listed nd's record against Big Ten schools, with one error. OHIO STATE has a winning record against nd.
1935 18-31
1936 2-7
1995 45-26
1996 29-16
2005 34-20

Love watching ND the last couple years. Didn't care for the hypocrisy re Ty and hiring of Weis. Can't wait to see them play USC.

Some years ND does have a tough schedule and other times not so tough. They really need to take care of things this year. I can't see them losing to anyone except USC, UNC, BC and possibly Purdue. Everyone else is about as sure a win as one can get..like San Diego State. hahah

sometimes i wonder what it is to be a ND football player and having to look at myself in the mirror. maybe they should teach a class at ND about having heart.

The primary concern is not the O-Line, but rather the play-calling and overall lack of diversity of the rushing attack. Everyone, and I mean everyone, knows that ND is going to run between the tackles with an occasional stretch handoff designed to go around the tackle. It was not a coincidence that ND's longest run of the game was the one time they used a little mis-direction. Ironically, our so-called offensive genius, runs one of the most vanilla offenses in all of college football

The Irish are who we thought they were!!!! If the ND fans want to crown them, then crown them but they won't be going to a BCS Bowl anytime soon with front-butt as their coach! I love it!!!!!!!!

If Notre Dame is serious about their football program, they will get rid of Charlie Wies and bring in somebody that knows how to coach college kids. College football comes down to coaching. Notre Dame doesn't have good coaching and will continue to struggle as long as Charlie is there. It's pretty simple.

How long is NBC stuck with Notre Dame? I thought ND had now several monster recruiting classes. What happened?
