Way to support a losing program.

What do you get out of it?

How about supporting a winner for a change

I'm an Aggie Alumni and I can't believe we couldn't be a more gracious host. Bad sportsmanship. Interesting game.

It's always bad at these games, that's the fun part of a rivalry. I get to talk crap to all of the Aggie fans after a win and I get heckled out of Aggie Memorial (2 years ago) when they lose... Who cares?

Rocketscientist...I agree with the smack talk and the rivalry, but that is left to the fans. Both schools and departments need to be above that and treat each other with respect. Charging full price for food isn't a big deal, saying cash only or giving some hint of taking the rivaly to the food that was needed due to an unforseen delay is taking it a little too far. I would hope that if this happened at UTEP that the UTEP athletic department would do everything in their power to help NMSU's players. It's called GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP...so who cares you ask? I Do..

No one needs fans like you. I guess we should all jump on the bandwagon of a winning team and proudly buy the gear of the national champion every year? to that I say go away and keep cheering for someone else. I will continue to proudly don UTEP apparel and cheer for my alma mater. It's only a losing program if all they had were losers like you.

Non bandwagon fan........

I am NOT a bandwagon fan and I ahve been fan since my younger years and all I remember is them losing, and sucking, and losing.
You can say that you support them all that you want, but just how much losing can a city/person take?
Losing causes heart break, disappointment, frustration, and any kind of negativity that prevents the program seeking the right direction.
Do you just accept losing cause thats what this program is noted for?
Do you accept it at all for that matter?

After those years of relevance and getting to a bowl game a few years back, do you not want that winning atmosphere?
Do you not want the exposure, the sell outs, the support?
Winning is a good thing. Why do you knock it?

P.S. Take a good look, with or without me the football program was and are still losers.
But I guess you are just another loser to accept them for what they are, and settle for less.
Unlike you, I want more out of this program and want it to succeed and be apart of it from day 1.

You want losing and the acceptance of losing, than take your losing a=s=s down I-10.

The city deserves better

Hey TiredOfLosingTra dition,
What an idiot! First of all, we are not accepting a 'losing' mentality, but merely supporting the home team regardless of the game's outcome. We will be over-matched in a few games, but we support our team anyway. It's the making of a true fan. Remember, it's only a game. A game played by student-athletes. We support these young men who represent our school. Do yourself a favor and go support something in LA!

I wonder if the grease on the hands comment was MP's feeble attempt at humor. Why would he expect to get free/reduced handouts for the team? The concessions are trying to make some bucks just like everybody else and most likely can't afford to just give away product. I'm sure that the UTEP concessions wouldn't drop prices for anybody. He needs to focus on improvements, not whining about the cost of munchies.

Hmmm maybe yor right. This pathetic football program will continue to go nowhere because it is people like you that support losers regardless of who is on the field.
To you it may be a game, but I guess my aspirations of having a major, prominent football program is just a dream.
Its cool to represent the school, but in turn, its the team/coaching staff/ program that makes you guys look like laughing stocks.
If thats cool with you, than go for it.

I guess I will have to focus a bit more on USC, UCLA, LAKERS, ANGELS, and DODGERS.

I give up on you idiots who are missing the bigger picture.
