If I were those guys, I would be highly embarrassed by these "pop the bubbly" articles.
I find it hard to believe that they would still be clinging to this undefeated season so pathetically.
I wonder, is it really the media that makes this ridiculous S@#T up?

This is not the same ownership the dynasty was made of, thus, the record was gone when this filth pig took over.

If the 72 Dolphins cared at all, they would rescue the record and team by buying the team back from this deplorable excuse for an owner and put the real name of the stadium back up: Joe Robbie Stadium.

Until such time as the 72 Dolphins are actually willing to take the power back, tell them I said to have a coke and a smile and shut the fark up.

SOD. Save Our Dolphins. 72 team.. rescue us.

Buy the team!!!

The poppin the bubbly is a media creation, they had staged that once about 10 years ago and every year they roll out the footage, if you ever have listened to mad dog mandich he has answered that question numerous times, no they dont sit around waiting for a loss, just here a week ago mandich admitted that this team is better than his team was that went perfect so, get off your high horse .

Apparently my comment didn't go through I guess it was to much of an essay but to sum up: Met Shula 6yrs old talked was impressed became Dolphins fan for life fav player all time Larry Csonka played at SU my school and hometown impressed coaches and players with great heart and skill and love of game despite everyone saying not cut out for position beginning of career Although different position and side of ball Zach is the only player that I think compares to him and Zach deserves the comparison. Long live the Phins of old and Phins of future

Today at 4: 15 might be our only chance left to dump the Pats. Get out and root for Pitt. Against us and the Giants and someone else--it isn't going to happen.

I still like Beck but remember:

This isn't Danny out there a couple of weeks down the road. Danny is still the best. Brady is an arrogant whatever and Belly check is still an ___. I can't seem to forget the game we lost to them where Taylor INT'ed the pass from their back up and what --we're 14 down or more and that jerkweed coach from N.E. brings Brady right back.

I have no respect for the NFL anymore either. All they want is another Perfect Season team. Good for publicity.

Go pitt.

The Whip knows.

Y' know, I was born in the summer of '68. I lived in WPB, and learned quick not to run in front of the TV when you see a man wearing the number 12 jersey. I see this franchise now for what it is; a merchandising machine. Joe Robbie must be doing summer saults in his grave. And another thing, if the Pats do go undefeated, who cares? We did it first, we held the record for how many years? So, Miami did something nobody else in the NFL could ever do... They did it first!

BIG the whole NFL has become a HUGE business and not only you and I know this and understand the implications. The game is not the same now it has become a huge entertainment industry. Still though despite all the Bull I love watching a player with heart kick azz or an underated team make it to the superbwl. And you are RIGHT ON...there will NEVER be another '72 Dolphins. Even if the Pats run the table every NFL purist will know this. Heck compare it to NASCAR now who is the better driver Richard Petty back then or Jimmie Johnson now?

This article should have said instead:
"The senile players from the Dolphins' 1972 perfect season have come close to popping the bubbly in recent weeks, but the still undefeated 12-0 New England Patriots have stubbornly kept that champagne on ice. "
