Gibbs built a solid team before he retired a 2nd time. Zorn and Cerrato destroyed the solid team Gibbs built. This years teams if you look at the season should have been 11-5 or 10-6 under Zorn and Cerrato, not 8-8. The teams also should have been in the playoffs instead of the Eagles.

I'm glad the Redskins finally realize that they need to improve the offensive and defensive lines. The Redskins might have a good foundation of skill players, but everyone knows that a true foundation towards building a superbowl team starts with the offensive and defensive lines. I am really hoping the Redskins address that need in the offseason. Considering how good thier defense was with virtually no pass rush, the Redskins could have a superbowl caliber defense next year if they add some guys who can out some pressure on the quarterback.

Time to clean house. M. Washington, C.Griffin, S. Springs, P.Daniels, T. Yoder, Do not bring back P.Kendall and J. Taylor all have to go. Yes we gave up two picks for TAYLOR WHO SHOULD NOT BE HERE ANYWAY BUT USE HIS $ 8 million on Salary CAP Money on better talent. Re sign Hall and draft players who will play. Will give receivers one more year but Zorn has to get them involved. And J. Trash should not be on this team over D. Thomas at all . Tired of usual disappointments. Despite finishing 4th in defense, most times including the Bengals, Ravens, Dall, SF games to name a few, when Skins tied late, defense let other team drive right down. Figure out why. Lets progress instead of regress

The Redskins have been a middle of the pack team for too many years. It would have been better if they had collapsed and forced a total clean-up. The time to give up on this group is long delayed.
I would start with the QB, he has not shown an ability to see the field, nor has his accuracy improved. He is 19th in QB rating, 16th in yardage, tied for 21rst in TDs and 4th highest in sacks and in spite of his size and physical tools is near the bottom in running yardage. He aslo had only 3 throws of 40 yards or over. Pathetic for a 4 year veteran. I do not buy the excuse of his having to learn new offenses - that is a crutch for losers. The winners (Flacco etc.) find a way to win.
The entire defensive line is substandard and the offensive line has one keeper and a second stringer.
Time to look for winners.

Campbell is not the future. You have colt brennan who is a better pocket passer with more quicks, and he is faster at going through his progression. You want fewer sacks, get a smarter qurterback behind center. You want better defense, get a quarterback that keeps drives alive. If your defense is always on the field, they will always be tired.

The lines need to get younger or this team will never be anything but 8-8. No player is safe (looking at you, Portis) from a trade for draft picks and its time to for Springs and Washington to go (great players, but injured too often). All picks should go to OL/DL/LB. They can turn this around quick, but it will take good evaluation of picks and maybe picking up some young, lesser known FA. The worst thing they could do would be to try to solve this with one big-money FA pickup.

The Skins played its best defense the earlier part of the season. There after they became less aggressive and played more zone especially in 4th quarter games when they had leads or when the games were close. Carter didn't have a great season 'cause he was always doubled. The 2 tackles have to go. We need the Joe Gibb's Hogs back on the O-line.

With the callibor player the Skins had on offense, the team should have been more productive. I think Jason really didn't have the opportunity to throw the ball down field. Too much dip and dunk for 3 or 4 yard and trying to relie on RAC. The o-line just wasnt' on click together. I truly don't think the team used Randle El as much as they should have. Look at W Walker for the Patriots. Back to Back 100 rec. seasons and this year it was a quiet one. Portis, I think, is the best all around back. Run, catch, provide great blocks and know how to read blitz.

The Skins just need to revamp the coaches and overpaid and injury prone players. If the Skins had a pass rush, Then we wouldn't be talkin' bout the Raven, Cowboys , and the Eagles. To finish 4th in the NFL and be ranked at the bottom in sacks, Defensive TD, and Int is damn good.
