Beating Pats would make Raiders relevant

There are 4 comments on the Petaluma360 story from Oct 2, 2011, titled Beating Pats would make Raiders relevant. In it, Petaluma360 reports that:

At this moment, the Oakland Raiders are the No. 1 sports story in the Bay Area. They take precedence over the Giants who flopped, the A's who endlessly wait for a new stadium like characters awaiting Prince Charming in a fairytale, and the 49ers who are 2-1 but unconvincing.

The Raiders are the #1 story in the Bay Area??? Oh really?! SF is now 3-1 with a great come from behind 2nd half win, and the Raiders are......well you know the story, it hasn't changed in over a DECADE. Al Michaels was RIGHT, the Faiders will never make it to the Superbowl with Al Davis at the helm. The "bullies" got bullied all over again. Serves them right, bullying is unacceptable anywhere. The Faiders need to learn discipline and get back down to the basics. De la Salle HS would kick the Faiders butts. Prediction: That will be the last televised Faider home game this year.

Thanks for proving your lack of football acumen. Raiders are a db or two and some discipline away from being a contender. Taking your disdain out of the equation for the raiders and look at it from a pure football perspective, raiders have enough tools minus the db positon to be a top contender. With improvements to the db postion our run stopping would instantly get better. This is a good team, close to being very good. But keep on with your emotional rants. Raiders are getting better and they ARE building a bully!

It'll never happen this year. They're still to dysfunctional, and now leaderless. Al D RIP.
