steve smith would be a decent addition but unlike the others, ocho,t.o.and r moss, too much complaining about not getting the ball enough! that can be a distraction. i still have this weird feeling that ocho will end up in oakland.cincci went high on their (wr)draft pick and ochocinco has been wanting out for a while. i think the bungles would rather keep t.o. than to keep ocho. we just picked up (wr)d.moore in the draft to hopefully compensate for a veteran (wr) from elsewhere but like hue jackson has been saying,"it's time for these veterans to step it up!"

(wr)denarius moore (r)
(wr)david dausberry (r)
(wr)damola adeniji (v) not played
(wr)shaun bediford (v)
(wr)nick miller (v)
(wr)jacoby ford (v)
(wr)darrius hayward-bey (v)
(wr)luis murphy
(wr)johnny lee higgins (v)
(wr)chaz schilenz (v)
out of all these guys, jacoby ford and chaz shilenz have really proven themselves worthy of! the other guys are yei and ahh and decent. jacoby ford was a rookie and still getting his feet wet. chaz schilens, a proven (wr) but injury has played a big roll in this group of veteran leadership here.
if denaurius moore and david dausberry jump in and prove that leadership that jacoby ford did? some of these veterans better start looking elsewhere. h jackson has been drafting smart and i hope that what we got in the late rnds of this draft that these guys step it up like j ford. we'll be set and we won't need no s smiths or ocho's or t.o.'s!

I would rather see us get Steve Smith than Ocho or TO. Schilens is a good emergency receiver; he's too injury prone to be a starter. Louis Murphy has proven his worth. Jacoby Ford made a lot of people forger about DHB because he stepped in right away and became what DHB was expected to be and a whole lot more. Higgins has been overshadowed by Ford. N Miller has contributed on special teams. Denarius Moore has a chance to make this team as a WR and could surplant one of the other guys and if RB Tawain Jones becomes a returner then Higgins and N Miller will become expendable. Dausberry will likely move to FB or TE. We're just so overcrowded at WR now that I don't see room for adding a vet especially if they guys we have are capable of getting the job done.

trade schilens...I like him but injury is too much of a problem. Smith would be decent....but he too has not been healthy for a full season in awhile...father time is catching up to him.

yes, s smith over ocho and the rest.
no on s smith because i forgot about his yearly injuries. true!
agree, on not needing another veteran (wr). it is time that these guys step it up!and we should be able to do it this year.
agree and disagree with the schilens release. he is our veteran but a veteran with injury. kind of like steve smith. i think carolina would keep smith just like we would keep schilens. the question is will he stay healthy? for the most part? NO! so why would we keep him? because he can make plays! he's healthy now and thats why we want to keep him BUT? one more injury and HE HAS TO GO! I know, why play that game right?(lol) because while he's healthy and "if" he stays healthy? we're good!

There are 2 positions that the Raiders never seem to have enough of...WR and CB.

I think it's more like WR and corner are the two positions we always seem to overstock at.
