the pitch-out did result in 6 idiot. 6 for cinci. just when i thought their couldnt be any more idiots in maryland-up pops phil. we were running the ball straight ahead at that point and blowing them away with it. i didnt have a problem with the first pitch out because the game was in doubt. the second one we were running out the clock just fine blowing the bungles off the ball and would have at least got a field goal out of it. no need to pitch the ball at that point but i guess your just another raven fan who doesnt understand football. as far as flacco goes - i think he will be special-i was very impressed. however although he had several dropped on him many of his short touch passes were way off. the on where he had a guy wide open in the flat and overthrew him by 10 yards and the swing pass to mclain that was thrown a few yards too far come to mind off the top of my head.
I was at the game and if I remember correctly the fumble that was returned by the Bungles was a run up the middle that Rice just dropped. Flacco played great. You're really going to criticize him for two bad throws when he had 5 dropped on him, with at least two of them being touchdowns? He could have easily had 250 yds and two TDs if his receivers bring their "A" game.

Awesome game to be at especially when 70,000 in unison were chanting "Lets go Flacco"
D was dominant. O line was unreal. Receivers/TE were average.
Running game was great especially with no Mcgahee. It seemed like they would get 4 yards at the minimum every carry.
Who knew the fullback from Bama could carry a load like that??
True test comes this week when we see the rook on the road
Im excited....

One notable: the Ravens ran 46 rushing plays vs. 29 passing plays.

This is important because last year we often ran more passing plays than rushing plays despite of the lack of success we had with our passing game.

As long as we can be creative with our plays like we did yesterday (unlike last year), we can have a successful run-dominated offense augmented with an efficient passing game (especially to allow Flacco to get his feet wet). Also, adding Ray Rice and Le'Ron McClain into the mix has been a big plus.

In fairness to Olbermann, he did get his start doing Sportcenter, and he was hysterical back in the day.
In all fairness to Olbermann, we just did not realize he lost his anchor job at MSNBC. LOL.

That was before he became the liberal version of Rush Limbaugh. Now all he cares about is trashing conservatives. It's an old act and he needs to go.
The game was great. It was one of the best times I've had at the stadium. Flacco played a great game. The writers here are really need to take into account the 5 drops our receivers had. I know they mention them but they don't seem to make the connection that Flacco really did have a great passing day. If even three out of the five are caught Flacco has over 200yds passing and at least 1 passing TD. Considering one of Big Ben's first passes as a Pro was a pick six to Chris McCallister I'd say Joe had quite a successful coming out party.
From the Colts, to the MD games to the Ravens, this ranks up in my Top 5 of games I have attended. The energy level seemed to just ratchet up more and more as the game went on. Maybe it was because we were so pessimistic with the injuries and how the pre-season looked, but as it went, nobody was sitting down and everyone was screaming their lungs out. Definitely top 5 of the games I have ever attended.

If the December sales are calling you, you'd better work out a budget before you leave the house. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to use your credit card first and only consider the cost of your purchase later on. Even so, you could track down some great bargains now, provided you don't get carried away and buy items that you don't really want simply because you're astonished by the amount of money you'll save in buying them. But you'll save even more money if you don't buy them!
