The Giants broke 2 long runs and punched 2 Tds in from the 1 yard line. It is not like they were blowing the Ravens off the ball all day, they just made all the big plays and caught all the breaks. That is why they are the best team in the NFL, but they did not beat he Ravens as badly as the score made it look, or run as wild as 200 yards would make it seem. The 2 runs for 118, could have been stopped behind the line or by Ray in the hole. 2 times out of 100 Pryce and Ray missed a routine tackle and Mason dropped a routine catch and they all turned into points. Mason almost never gives up a pick 6 on an esy catch, and if he made that play, the Ravens were still in a close game with a chance to cut the lead to 3 on that drive.

The Ravens ran into the best offensive line in football. The Giants front five all look like young John Runyan clones who can drive block a nose guard 20 yards and are still athletic enough to pass protect the edge against elite pass rushers. Add to that one of the best D-Lines in the game, and I don't care who your QB is.

Ravens O-Line is about 1-2 years away from potentially being Giants caliber (still need a solid RT). The D-Line could return to form with a healthy Gregg, but they still wouldn't be able to get the QB pressure the Giants D-Line does.

Giants are clearly the best team in football.

Not to make excuses, but the Ravens seem to have major trouble with the injury bug both last year and this year. It would be interesting to replay the Giants game with all our starters healthy.

Peter King says it best. It kills me that everyone picked the Giants to win, the Ravens were only getting a little consideration, yet when they do win the game....everyone acts like they had the Ravens as a top tier team. More importantly they act like they haven't said the Giants are the best in the league.

The funny thing is Jacobs didn't even play the whole first half. Imagine the total yards rushing if he played the whole game.
The giants are a class organiztion and didn't want o run up the score!

it's easy for these talking heads that didn't watch the game to say that the Ravens defense got pushed around. In reality, the Giants had 4 plays that netted 146yds and the other 22 netted 50yds total. two of those 4 plays should have been stuffed behind the line. Ravens fans don't worry about what these idiot say because they have no clue

As for injuries..I dont want to hear it. All NFL teams have them.
The Steelers have played most of the season w/ their 3rd RB
The Pats are playing w/o Brady
The Giants lost their best pass rusher (osi)
These 3 teams are still winning and not making excuses

All I have to say is kiss our @ss who cares what you think of us, this league is about wins and loses and yes we lost to a better prepared team. To be honest with you we would have given the Giants hell if our "D" were a little bit more awake, lots of miss tackles; we are allowed to have an off game day.

Oh yea, thank you F. Washington for the tackle man you are one fast SOB.

Hi, I'm the knee injury that kept Jacobs out of the rest of the Ravens Giants game...I'm still bothering him today.

Ok, name a team that has had to start their #3 and #4 corner backs(rolle and mcallister both hurt), have their saftey playing hurt, lose one of their best D-lineman (gregg), saftey out (landry)

And that is just on the defensive side of the ball.

I agree that injuries are a part of life in the NFL, but lets get real here for a sec. You mention 3 teams that have lost 1 starter. How many have the raven's lost?

And last I checked the Ravens still have a wining record. They are getting beaten by teams that are probably better then they are but are beating the teams they are supposed to beat.

Oh, and by the way most people predicted the Ravens to be 5-11.

So Coughlin took it easy on us? While still in the 1st half? Yeah, you are a true football genius.

I wouldn't say 12-4 but I say the Ravens get the 6th seed at 10-6

Umm...Ravens have 17 on IR. Twice as many as any other team in the NFL.

But, that being said, the Giants are the best team in the NFL. My Ravens are not an elite team. This game shows how far they still need to go.

Hats off to the GIants, they beat up my Ravens all over the field.
But, it is ok. The Ravens are ahead of schedule. No one thought they would be this competitive this season, no one. After 10 games they have a serious shot at the playoffs which would be good experience for the young ones.
