Leftwich should consider looking for a new line of work. The reality is the only thing that he is good at is running his mouth and blaming everything under the sun for his shortfalls. Hopefully, the rest of the NFL owners are keeping tabs on his performance. Afterall, how many chances do you give a guy before you tell them they're not football material?
|
||||
|
At least they were smart enough to get rid of Fumblewich without taking five years to do it and wasting five years of what used to be a premier defense. Congrats to Del Rio for FINALLY giving a REAL quarterback the chance to prove it and thank you to Tom Coughlin for drafting David Garrard in the first place. As TC said last year when the Giants played against the Jags, "I didn't bring David here to be a backup". It's time for Shack Harris to join Matt Jones AND Byron on the "unable to perform list". Good riddance Byron. To bad you have more EGO than you do football talent.

Leftover is on his way to the CFL because he had his chance with the Falcons to prove all of us wrong and he blew it.
A month before Jack grew a pair and cut him I watched him at training camp. Three lil' white boys all wearing his jersey were waiting patiently for their hero to come off the field and sign their jersey's. He came 3 feet from them and he stopped and looked at them as they screamed "Please sign my jersey Mr.Leftwich".(They were very polite) He glared at them for a good couple of seconds,laughed to himself while shaking his head and walked away. I thought my wife was gonna kick his A#*! The boys Father tried to comfort the lil' one that had started crying.It was the most blatent F*** you I had ever seen in sports. I'll never forget that moment as long as I live. Our prayers were answered a month later. note: It was one of those late school night practices when there was only a 100 or so fans there. |

What a loser. He deserves what he got. He'll be broke and living in the Eureka Apts in a couple of years. |

With any luck. |

This is a good example for young kids today, to show them that you need more then talent and not to rely on your physical skills. Because even though you might be a good sportsplayer there is always some one better. Parents should encourage education over sports because no one can ever take that away. You can go farther in lofe with education. Remember that.

Unfortunately, there are some subcultures here that think rapping and sports are the only professions, and they don't need to study to get there.

Byron's best quote: "I didn't get no dumma"....that says it all. Not only does he not sign autographs (as many people have noted) but he doesn't leave tips at restaurants (ask restaurants along Atlantic Blvd. near Queens Harbour)and he once said his goal following football "is to be a futbal announca"...imagine that one?? He refused coaches training; He refused lessons for speech improvement; he made no improvement under multiple qb coaches; lied to the Jaguars about his "cranky ankle" and complained to ESPN about not starting against the Tennessee Titans revealing that information on Thursday before game day in spite of Del Rio's wish to not reveal the decision until Sunday, violating team rules. It goes on and on, but fortunately he got what he EARNED. I don't know if he can even handle working in fast food, as he once dropped a take-out chicken order at a restaurant on Atlantic Blvd. when it was handed to him...not a rumor...it was witnessed. Oh, finally, Pete Prisco claimed yesterday that "I text Byron this a.m. and he told me he asked to be released so he could move on with other opportunities such as Baltimore and Chicago". Yea, sure...NO articles, including the Atlanta Falcons website, say Byron "asked out". We ALL know his Superego would NOT allow that.

Wait a minute this is too funny not to comment on. How can a black quarterback who STARTED, lost his job to another BLACK quarterback in Jacksonville, then dropped by a team who's franchise player the year before was also a BLACK quarterback complain about racial bias? Are you from another planet, or do you really understand what racism is about? No, he will not cry race because that issue is not a factor in his being released from Jacksonville and Atlanta. Is this comment some back alley way of saying that black people cry racism whenever things do not go their way? Yeah it is! Go ahead, admit it. Racists, you just gotta marvel at them! |
