I thought this thread was on the USC game not Pryor's eye stickers. It is on another thread ,go there. It will be a distraction for the team (and me).Lets drop it and getting on to handing the Trojans a loss. Can I hear a GO Bucks ? O-H

I have thought for a number of years now that OSU's defense plays with very little emotion. They just are not agressive enough to compete with the elite programs. Also, when will Coach Tressel stop pretending to be a offensive coordinator.

Ride on we r USC. We rideen on to victory..... In case you have not notice they have made OSU 6 point underdog. When was the last time to saw that? Get ur USC gear out and get on the winner.

I'm worried, period. If we lose this game and get embarassed again. There needs to be some big changes with the program, starting at the top.

I had to jump in on the posts about the coaching staff. I couldn't agree more with those that recognize Tressel and his coaches are more conservative than the Pope!
If Tressel had not been "lucky" in defeating Miami, he'd be in big trouble already. With that win and championship, he has been given the benefit of the doubt. He's running out of time.
Quite frankly, our Big Ten conference has been an embarrassment for several years. We talk it up big and make weather excuses and anything else we can think of but, the fact remains, the Big Ten is a weak conference. And, that includes over rated Ohio State.
Look at Ohio State's team last year. We listened to all the preseason hype about how great they were going to be. How experienced they were. Yet, what did they do? They went to USC and had a Trojan stuffed where the sun doesn't shine!
I agree with the person above that said new coaching blood and philosophy is needed at Ohio State. Otherwise, Ohio State and the Big Ten will continue to be ridiculed on the networks as the "Lil' Eleven."

Since I was came into this world almost 43 years ago, I've been a walking, breathing Buckeye billboard. Growing up in Columbus, there was rarely a home game I didn't attend (thanks to Mom and Dad's 4 President's Club season tickets). Shoot, Dr. Gee was even a family friend. Well, the time has come for a change. Since OSU doesn't seem to be interested in making one, then the change will have to be mine. Living in Orlando now, I have grown extremely weary of being the butt of all my SEC friend's jokes. Coach Tressel is a quality human being and has brought honor back to the program (after the Cooper debacle), but has proven year after year that he can not develop an offensive line that can protect a quarterback and open up holes for running backs, nor can he develop a defensive line that can put pressure on opposing quarterbacks or stop the run. From the looks of the Navy game, this will be another frustrating year for Buckeye fans. But not for me. As a newly converted Gator fan, things are looking good for another trip to the title game. GO GATORS!

You know those undisciplined players. One day they're wearing little Vick eyeshades. Next thing you know they're robbing people in alleys and driving SUVs with loaded assault rifles.

I don't have any problem with Pryor trying to honor Michael Vick. Vick has paid his price. I don't desert my friends or heroes when they make a mistake. I admire Pryor for wanting to stand by his sports hero.

That's right, gents. It will take a (near) perfect game to do it. That's a tall expectation from a team who, despite playing for the old sweater vest himself, is prone to mistakes, blown assignments and in the past two years, a loss of poise against elite teams.

It does not bode well, and that's just being polite. Someone talk me off the ledge, but, you better be convincing.

I think there were a couple of things I haven't heard enough about:
1) Jim Tressel pulled Terrell before the Half when there was some momentum which was too early.
2) Coach Tressel is the last one too run up the score on anyone which very easily could have happened had he left the leader on the field the entire first half.
3) If Ohio State wants respect and to move up in the polls we need to let loose and score when we can.

I respect Jim Tressel however, the rules of the game have changed. Look at Penn State, Michigan, Florida and many others who just aired it out and ran up the score. Any wonder many past us in the polls?

Why should we even bother to play? The way everybody is talking, USC is the most talented team ever and we have no shot unless we play perfect and they play their worst game of the year.
