A lot of depth at linebacker. It's going to be interesting to see who steps up and fills those two open spots.

Even kids like Dorian Bell, Tyler Moeller or Andrew Sweat can play if given the chance.

What a study in contrasts. We have Brian Rolle - a classy, smart, hard working and dedicated student athlete and Jim T - clearly a useless waste of protoplasm.

I will be flying back from LA to be in the Shoe on 9/12. I will look for #36. If he plays like the prior #36's (Marek, Cousineau, Spielman), we should be fine. Time will tell. Sunny and 96 degrees and not a cloud in the sky! Oh yeah, and minimal humidity!

WOLFE if Tressel USES that ANEMIC Offense and Play book of his USC will beat OSU with a ROOKIE QB. I LOVE THE BUCKEYES but USC Players are on a TOTALLY Different level. They live and breathe football. U can sit here and say OSU Student Athletes this and that. OSU academics and all that...thats good but the point is we need BEASTS on the Field too and not just BEASTS in the classroom. And Yes, i beleive USC could have put a 100 on Tressels Anemic team.
Take this into consideration. Cooper recruited some Hungry, "Bright" players that met OSU academic standards Tressel Being a 2nd year coach uses his 2nd year on the job attitude and won a championship. He had Beasts on the field and classroom. What has he done lately? Carpenter, Hawk, Ginn, Smith, Jenkins and Laurinitis are GONE. Clifford (a heck of a Corner messed up) but they are gone..these new guys have to come with attitude and Fire...Forget all the USC clips and Video and ...nuts shouting we can score 100...USC could have scored a 100 if the game was longer OSU would have not scored another pt guaranteed.
Tressel is not a motivator like Spurier, richt, saban, Nutt, or Carrol. Guys react to fire......Dont tame the beasts let them loose......Forget Seniority If a Freshman is a Beast let him loose
According to Todd McShey and Colin Cowherd most college fotball analyst say USC would have ran both Florida and Oklahoma off of the field last year. 2 years in a row the best team was not in the title game.

I really believe that this is going to be an exciting year to be a buckeyes fan!!! T.P. has matured another year and that is really scary for defenses that face him. im not worried one bit about the defense. they reload everytime and bring new names to households all over buckeye land. i believe in tressel and his abilities as a coach and i think this year he will win the big game!!! at seasons end it will be a rematch title game buckeyes vs gators, tebow vs pryor, be a very fun game to watch im going to sleep till january...lol anyone doubt me?

u cant spell u must be from usc where education isnt there strongest subject..u must be blind do u need braille to see how much better osu is than usc? u must not have a football iq whatsoever to make such ignorant statements. ohio state gets revenge this year and they will play with fire and poise and class unlike usc and their arrogant players and coaches, i bet my house on it!! national champs gauranteed sleeper pick.

Too much irrational fantasizing by irrational fans. Let's let Tressel put a team on the field, see how they do, and enjoy another great year of Buckeye football.

i had lots of people at my house last year to see the great Buckeye machine defeat the mighty Trojans. and what happens i ate lots of crap as i watched the Trojans clobber the Buckeye machine! tressel was horrible as a coach for not letting Pryor play more! he chocked bigtime! I will travel to the Horseshoe this year to root on my Buckeyes and avenge that horrible defeat! I am hoping that Tressel allows the Buckeyes to do this and not screw it up! Go Bucks!

B-Rolle's disciplined work ethic and enthusiasm for understanding what achieving goals mean says to me that he will not only excell in football, but any other endeavor in his life, should he apply the same degree of fervor. He has clearly found one of the keys to success.

This has to help the Buckeyes. I'm sensing another title game within the next two years.

I will make a prediction and say that the most forcing player for this year who will go from nothing to a 1st round prospect is Thaddeus Gibson.
I think that Rolle will be a beast from sideline to sideline and this is the year that Sabino will be a house hold name in the making but Gibson will be a monster and perhaps one of the most fear guys in CFB coming off the blindside.
