I agree, and its not just the Buckeyes. Tebow and Claussen both spent time with Jon Gruden this winter working on skills that one would think a good college coach would have addressed. There is no excuse for a program the likes of OSU, not to have a QB's coach who has had some level of success either playing or coaching the quarterback position.

QB coach? Go back and read the article again. It was sack city. We've needed an O-line coach for 9 years now.

If OSU's Defense is the Silver Bullets then what should we call the Offense? My vote is for the Rusty Trombones

Just 1dring if n e 1 else doesnt think its going to be hard finding a decent #2 DE? I must say the 2's & 3's on defense seem hungry to prove something. LMBO Chuckling bout the needing a o-line coach for 9 yrs statement. The line seems stacked to me with M.Hall & Big Jack on deck. Outside of a few spots, I'd like to see snaps dished out based on perfomance(sorta like t wash... mess up off to the bench) to maximize our SEC like depth at certain spots.

Incredible .... The Buckeyes have 5 returners on the ' D ' and 9 returners on the Offensive side of the football and the Silver Bullets ' D ' shuts out the Offense ! Cameron Heyward , Dexter Larimore , Johnny Simon , Nathan Williams , Solomon Thomas , Melvin Fellows , Keith Wells , Adam Bellamy and etc must be absolutely terrific on the defensive side of the football . The Buckeyes will be struggling with a tough or loaded football schedule in the fall . Let's Go Terrelle Pryor !

Relax people it's only April for crying out loud and remember, defense wins Championships! After watching some of the Alabama spring game yesterday I guarantee that old Nick Saban is not a happy camper today as his D was shredded.

Only thing we need to worry about spring ball is getting through it with no injuries. These scrimmages are not played under normal game conditions. The resulting score is really deceiving.

I wont worry they will not play a better defense all season. National Championship included. This is the best defense in the nation by far. Alabama ,Florida , Texas , Oregon , Boise State and any other team will not be able to slow down this front four and the pass rush. You have a all American next year in Heyward and top ten pick. A defensive
tackle who has great pursuit and can out power any guy in college football with his 575 pound bench press. Nate Williams and his pursuit is awesome as well and Lattimore on the other tackle. Thats 255 pound at Leo DE. 300 at DT in Denlinger and Lattimore ,290 in Simon and 290 in Heyward. These guys will dominate this year. Then you have to worry about inside twist double twist. Stunts and great line backers as well. Homan is a Butkus finalist and top 3 LB next year.CHeckwa is a lock down with elite speed. Torrence is also a great burner with a big body and great ball skills. Hines at safety will kill you and Johnson is looking strong as well. See you next week at the shoe for the spring game. On a personal note. I brougt in muy Hobenaros due to the freeze tonight and my dog ate the plants off the kitchen table. To bad they did not have any peppers on them. Freeze here ends at mid may so I was hoping to plant them with my Ghost Chilli plant. For 12 bucks the Ghost Chilli better be hot.
