Three Good Captains ...Go Buckeyes ! Kurt Coleman is a fiercest competitor + Austin Spitler spent three seasons behind All-American James Laurinaitis and Doug Worthington at DT could be the star on the ' D ' for the Silver Bullets .

This is how it should be, take your defensive players that are the heart of the team and let them light the fire under everyone else. Good to see Worthington has made the turnaround he has since the DUI. Coleman is an obvious pick for captain, and even though Spitler hasn't seen much time on the field, he has hung in there and made the best out of the situation he was put in backing up JL...8 days and counting...

Is this the same Doug Worthington who was arrested in a Cadelac Escalade for a DUI last year? True leader I guess. Ohio State still sucks.

I heard about the arrest but I thought he was driving a cadillac. Good picks.

Whatever your loyalties are dumb butt, it is really sad for you to criticize/disown a 22-yr old young man who made a very simple mistake that, quite frankly, did not even used to be illegal until society became so harsh and judgmental. i hope the next silly set of overreaching laws they make includes imprisonment of alleged Ohioans who are NOT Buckeye fans. That would be as stupid as your comments!

Terrell Pryor is the clear leader of this team, regardless of his class. Any other player can be replaced with a good backup but if Pryor goes down the Buckeyes are done. The fact that Tressel is holding him back to play Tressel-ball tells me TP will be 3 & gone.

Why isn't 4-yr-starter Anderson Russell a captain?

You should change your CB-handle to "Redin, Ritin, Rithmetik-Overrated." For those of us with a 3rd grade or higher education: It is Cadillac, not Cadelac. If you did somehow manage to earn (steal) a college diploma I suggest you return it to Ann Arbor or Gainesville and demand a refund.

HA HA HA! Maybe Cadelac is the bootleg brand. Not everyone can afford the real thing.

Aye Aye Captains! Now lets go swab the decks with the blood of the Midshipmen. We'll use 'em as chum to lure in the Trojans.

Just like Troy Smith was held back on his way to the Heisman. If TP is 3 and out it will not be because he was held back.

I am happy for all these young men. Coleman has played a lot of football and been great on and off the field. Spitler hasn't played much, but kept his nose to grind stone and look where he is today. Worthington made a huge mistake, but overcame it to be an inspiration to others who have had self-inflicted setbacks in life.

Anderson Russell is probably not a captain because he is mediocre and gets beat all the time from the free safety position. Jermale Hines will probably play more than him this year if he isnt a liability in coverage.

Yet again, more of the same crap out of you about a Florida team that hasn't even played us in 3 years...Do yourself a favor though, don't venture over the state line into Michigan where the 3-9 Wolverines own the Gators.
