AUSTIN -- Texas completed the second half of a stunning quinella Saturday that turned next week's Red River Rivalry into the battle to avoid the Big 12 South Division basement.

All I have to say is WOW! Taking it to UT on their home field like that was a pretty awesome site. The crazy thing is that what CU did to OU in holding them to 230 yards(which virtually none of came in the second half)might have been more impressive. The gap between the Big XII South and the Big XII North is officially closed. Now where are all the Big XII North haters who were calling for the South to seperate and form a new conference without many of the current North teams?

That's my prediction of how they'll finish in the North this year. Whoever meets Kansas St. in the Big XII Championship in San Antonio had better be ready.
