So true! And the DA did not press charges because he knew that couldnt win! This tramp had already been kicked out of this very same bar for trying to use a fake ID!

I think Mr. Goodell should retract what he had to say. Pretty low to do this to Ben right before the Super Bowl. Could it be that the Steelers beat all odds that were thrown against them by the NFL and still made it to the Super Bowl. Win or lose the Steelers are a class act. I just hope that we don't have to fight the officials on Sunday. I hope Mr. Goodell has to eat his words after the game. Its time for someone else to take his place as commissioner. He makes more money than most of us will make in a lifetime, only to pass judegment on innocent men.

The whole thing stinks, and it's making both Goodell and Peter King look really stupid right now: the former as an unprofessional fool who can't keep his mouth shut, the latter as a sniveling glory-hound who isn't above sullying SB week if it means getting a little extra attention directed to himself.

Poor timining number 1. And then following, Peter King has issued a clarification, citing the Goodell didn't necessarily interview Roethlisberger's teammates.

This is egg on face moment for both Goodell and Peter King, big time. In terms of pure journalism, this is in its yellowist of forms.

Peter King and SI should know better.

Goodell is proving to be a bumbling fool. Why on Earth would you look for support outside of Pittsburgh? What does that prove or disprove...was this a popularity contest?

Goodell: Hey, player X, what do you thing of Ben Roethlisberger?

Player X: I hate him, he wouldn't sign a jersey for me.

Goodell: Yes, he needs to be suspended.

Roger Goodell would have been better served to put a poll out on Facebook or something. What a joke.

And you were there? You know all the facts right? Wait... better yet you personally know Ben and HE told you it wasn't true or wait...you are personally connected to the Rooney's and they said it's not true. Sorry, what this entire thing boils down to is the guy won a few games for your team and now all is forgiven. This is what's wrong with sports today. People like you make this guy out to be some kind of God because he can play football but overlook the serious flaws in character. You might want to pick a better role model for your grandson.
