the worst rookie contracts in NFL history. Quite frankly, these players are total busts.

From 2000-2009 The Raiders had the most ridiculous first round picks passing on future Pro Bowlers
Sebass would've been on board in a later round. I know kicker was our biggest need this year but we passed on RB Shaun Alexander who would've been a great addition to our offense
Jon Gruden wanted TE Todd Heap but Al Davis got him SS Derrick Gibson who was constantly benched for lack of production. There were a few Wideouts on board named Reggie Wayne and Chad (Johnson) OchoCinco, but the smarter pick would've been QB Drew Brees who could've learned under Rich Gannon and been ready to roll when Gannon retired
Phillip Buchannon was a nice addition to our defense and special teams for a while, but as for Napolean Harris, I think we would've been better off sticking with Biekert and taking SS Ed Reed.
Tyler Brayton was thought to be the best DE available but there was also Osi Umanyiora. Nnamdi Asomugha eventually became a Pro Bowler, but I really had my eyes on WR Bethel Johnson or DB Terrence Kiel. There were also some LBs named Lance Briggs and Boss Baily on board too
I felt our biggest need player wise was an explosive offensive playmaker and there was one on board named Larry Fitzgerald, but we opted to go line with Robert Gallery who would've panned out sooner, but our biggest issue at this time was coaching.
We Chose Fabian Washington over QB Aaron Rodgers along with WR Roddy White and OL Logan Mankins, but our biggest mistake was trading #7 overall for headcase Randy Moss when we could've used that pick on DL/LB Demarcus Ware or DL/LB Shawn Merriman to solidify our defense.
Al Davis claims that it was Art Shell that wanted Michael Huff and he wanted Jay Cutler. I myself would've taken Kamerion Wimbley (who eventually joined us) and then taken either Danieal Manning, Deven Hester or Roman Harper in round 2
ANYBODY would've been better than Jamarcus Russell. Joe Thomas, Calvin Johnson, Patrick Willis, or Darrelle Revis would've all been nice, but the biggest stud we passed on was Adrian Peterson
Darren McFadden finally had a decent year, but since we had stolen Michael Bush in round 4 last year I thought we should've addressed other needs like run defense. I really liked DT Glen Dorsey. However, I find it strange that the Raiders passed on the speedster Chris Johnson who has actually been the best of the first round RBs this year.
Shocked the world by taking speedster Darrius Heyward-Bey and making him the first WR drafted. Percy Harvin, Michael Crabtree, and Jeremy Maclin were all still on board. I would've taken Maclin myself if I wanted a WR, but I really wanted C Alex Mack or OT Michael Oher. LBs Brian Cushing or Clay Matthews would've been nice too.
