When A.D. has passed and been covered with soil for a minimum of 3 days the raiders may start their resurrection, but not a day sooner. Sorry, but just the way I see it.

Tom Cable was spotted at an Oakland pharmacy buying some rubbers.
He didn't fool anybody by wearing dark glasses.

Mr. Davis is the Raiders , without him their just another team , no history , no mystique , no tradition . They would be just another San Diego or Seattle , yeah they`ve had times when they`ve been good , but who cares ?

Try to beat me up as you wish but you haven't a clue how I feel about the raiders. I'll give you some insight. A.D. was great in the 60's to the mid 70's. Football changed and A.D. didn't. He took a once GREAT franchise and has micro managed it into a laughingstock. THAT IS the present heritage of the raiders. No matter how much I wish it was different. I despise him because of that and if you think the blame doesn't lay at his feet then you haven't a clue of the Raider franchise history nor of A.D.

Most people want to throw Al Davis in a nursing home. I have a different view point. I feel fortunate having an Owner of a team I adore that is willing to TRY and put the best team out on the field he can. Have all his decisions been wise? NO! but the fact remains we could be fans of a team where the owner doesn't care. and That my friend deserves giving Al Davis a Pat on the back. Could I revert to all he has done for the game of football, the NFL and the Raiders? Absolutely and his efforts should be recognized. But this year I like that he changed what he was doing as it wasn't working. In years past he would have thrown a bunch of money at players and hoping some would stick. But this year he shifted gears and seemingly allowed his coaches to do their jobs and BUILD a team.
Say what you will about Ole Al Davis, but I am glad he owns the team I root for!

At one time, Davis was a great owner and leader, but his time has come and gone. For years, ever since we lost Gruden, it has all been downhill, and i wish Davis would sell the team to an owner with fresh money and fresh perspective,,,,,This will hopefully, be Davis's last year......

You know, I've been disgusted for a lot of Al Davis's decisions in recent passed, but I think Tom Cable is living proof that if you do what he asks of you, then you'll get rewarded. This offseason, Cable has been getting what he wants and has the RaiderNation pumped up for next season. I think Al Davis still knows what's going on and has found a coach that will help him catch up to the times.

If we ran bush in the first half and mcfadden in second we would only have to throw the ball 15-20 times a game. Also a true raider never puts their team down / question AD / or not believe in our gangster.

As much as I liked Chucky when he was with the Raiders, don't forget which coach marched his team into Tampa and eliminated Chucky and his Bucs from the play-offs, reportedly costing Gruden his job. That's right Cable....Cable....Cable...

Your missing the point, as i am not a buc fan...i am simply saying, that Gruden was, by far, the last best coach the Raiders had.....sadly, i think their problem is Davis now, not Cable.......He needs to sell the f*cking team to someone who lets FOOTBALL people run the show........
