really??? We are more than 1 piece away, and what does Bruce Gradkowski have to do to be considered a starting QB? Anyway, I dont care who is under center if we don't get the Offensive Line squared away we will be held back. Jake Grove and Justin Hartwig are accomplished Centers who are still available, and our offensive tackles are awful. then on defense we need another starting DT and OLB and CB. Tommy Kelly blows and we keep tryin to plug in defensive ends at Outside Linebacker.

The Raiders are a good team in a very bad situation. They are trying to be honest in a very corrupt NFL. The reason they are losing is because they don't have a new stadium and the NFL wants Al to sale to a billionaire. You knew before the season started that the Raiders had made so many changes that something should be getting better. The run defense or offensive line isn't the problem. Cable, Al or qb isn't the problem. We never write or petition the league to leave Al and the Raiders alone but we expect a different result. If you believe the Saints, K.C. and Houston are so good when they are above average teams then you are in bad shape.

IF YOU WANT THINGS TO CHANGE CONTACT THE NFL BY WRITING A LETTER OR FAX. They'll respond if enough of us write. But this b.s. will continue until we expost them.

I agree on the OL. Satelle was a downgrade over Grove and I would love to bring him back. I have no problems with Hartwig either. What really bugs me is that Cornell Green was supposed to be an upgrade over Langston Walker in the first place, but rather than upgrading, we went back to the old guy.

On defense, I think we could do better than Stanford Routt at corner and Michael Huff at FS, but at the same time the biggest problem is the offense not keeping the field long enough for the defense to get refreshed. There is nothing wrong with Tommy Kelly. I'm not real high on Quinten Groves, but that's just me.

t scott is returning to weakside(lb) and will start sunday in place of injured quentin groves. matt shaughnessy will start at rightend. quentin groves is very questionable. they'll know within 24hrs according to reports.
on the other hand on robert gallery, there's a chance he could play sunday. "he's very close, he felt really good after his workout. if he's good to go this morning, we'll start working" cable.

well Huff is a pretty good cover guy, he just needs to hit the sleds or move to corner. Routt could def be upgraded, and my only thing w/ Tommy Kelly is he's very inconsistent. One play he looks great and the next he's gettin blown off the ball. He's definitely not worth his salary. Honestly I think its time to throw Bruce Campbell in for Cooper Carlisle. I really think he is the future at Guard for us, might as well put him in while our OL can't get any worse. ok it could be worse, we could still have Kwame Harris at LT.

On a positive note, I do like how well the offense has moved despite the poor play from the Offensive Line. Plus our pass defense is the 3rd ranked in the NFL, and we have the 6th highest Rushing yds per game. so its not all bad. Now if we could get more than 32,000 to show up to the games we'd be ok.

I think Routt has played well this year; very well if you take the one Titan TD away. I do not miss Chris Johnson giving up 1 or 2 long catches a game. The best part about Scott returning to LB is that Shaughnessy starts and #77 is very consistent. I agree that Kelly needs to make more of an impact more frequently. I like how there are shorter routes and Gradkowski gets rid of the ball quickly to help the line. You have the feeling that San Diego is going to send different blitzes. Hopefully, the Raider O-line can pick-up and Gradkowski can protect the ball when they don't. It seems San Diego always gets a sack/strip and the Raiders would be wise to prepare or protect against that type of game changer.

that sack/strip was j russell. he never protected the ball. the ball was always on one hand on any play he made. gradkowski, is more aware of that. his only faults was getting hit from the blindside. i like (lb) m shaughnessy. i always look at his play because his #77 reminds me of lyle alzado. but he's pretty good over all. one thing i always wonder, is why defensive linemen while going after the (qb) or getting in the (qb's) face, players dont raise their hand much to batt a ball down or get into the (qb's) vision of play if they can't get to him. i don't know why i always find that so annoying. any slightly blocked vision is a potential incompletion. you know, it's one of those plays when you're saying get em, get em, get em! awwwwwwsssh.t stick your hand up!(LOL) now you know how i get!(LOL)
