Babich has to go. We all miss what this unit could do under Ron Rivera. Or Singletary? Lovie is good as the low key head coach, but the D needs someone more high energy- who actually knows what they're doing.

You mean to say Babble-ich gets angry, too? What are they going to do next week against the lowly Rams? Thank God for these fan forums so we can vent or we'd all be heading to Bellevue!

"Our players have a lot of character, a lot of pride, and we have to get it taken care of."

Could have fooled me. Did they have this same character and pride after last week's loss? Didn't seem to make much difference, did it?

"Babich said he tried minor adjustments, but to no avail. "

Switching out a pair of cornerbacks?? Loading up the front line?? That's it? How about major adjustments?? HOW ABOUT HITTING THE FREAKING RECEIVERS ON THE LINE TO SLOW THEM DOWN AND GIVE YOUR FRONT FOUR A CHANCE TO GET TO THE QB OR AT LEAST SCREW UP THEIR TIMING? I haven't seen these clowns do this one stinking time this year.

Thoroughly disgusting. They were consistent in one area though: they let GB get nearly get identical yardage for both passing and rushing. Gotta give them credit for that ...

Ok "John" Babich. Actually, Babich's son's name is Bob. Bobby Jr. So.. yeah.

Bob Babich is completely unqualified to be the water boy for the Bears, let alone a defensive coach. Fire this clown already.

Playing poorly and then getting angry and defensive afterward doesn't much impress anyone. The time to have gotten angry and defensive was on the damned playing field, not in the locker room in front of the media. Bob Babich now holds the dubious distinction of taking one of the top five defenses in the league and dropping them to the bottom five over the course of his tenure in Chicago.

I'm not impressed. I'm tired of excuses. We're talking about players who are making MILLIONS of dollars per year. Urlacher did at least grab a pick, which is more than I can say for our cornerbacks. Peanut isn't gettin ' it done anymore, and Vasher is starting to resemble a cornerback I remember from the Wannstedt era (Walt "TOAST" Harris). Seriously, our secondary is getting burnt more often than California. Somebody better do something pretty quick or we'll all be tuning in for Dancing with the Stars reruns on Sunday afternoons (They can't play football but they sure can dance).

I think we need to fire both coordinators. The defense sucks and the play calling for our offense. Everybody and there brother knew Forte was going to get the ball on 3rd and 1 but we ran it anyway knowing they had stacked the line. We need an offensive coordinator with some imagination. I also believe we should scrap the cover 2 defense and go back to the good old days of the 46 defense. If Lovie has not got what it takes to fire these guys, then he should be fired. A good manager (coach) seperates friendship (which is the only reason Babich has the defensive coordinator job) from business decisions.

Yeah, but he gets visibly upset. Doesn't that make him a better coach than Lovie?

Its time. Babich is clearly being out coached every game I have seen this year.

I know this is a more defensive-minded topic, but has anyone noticed the many ex-Bear WRs that are productive for their current teams? Muhammad, Wade, Gage (147yds. 2TDs today), Bradley. The Bears coaching staff is a joke. They don't know how to get the most out of players and they cut anyone who isn't a total "yes-man" and just chalk it up to "the player had fallen out of favor with the coaching staff".

Meanwhile, Ron Rivera's D did very well against Pittsburgh, despite the loss.

Babich's straight-up "blitzing" is a complete joke. His "zone blitz" had a DT (#71 or #91) downfield covering a WR/TE.

Hey lovie,
Are you sure you don't want the job at the U of Tenn...take a couple of years of and think about it, and don't forget to take your BFF.

It's tough to tell if the Bears are suffering from a lack of talent, desire, or both, but one thing they definitely lack is the imagination
needed to make even the most basic adjustments.

Lovie wasn;t really into the game, as usual, either. Time to change everyhting around here. if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, shoot it. i'm not talking about Rex's passes either. those are called dying ducks.
