I want to see more done to our defense, and if we have all that money I say try to get Randy Moss. That way we can show everyone what Brees can do with some great recievers. I'm tired of watching our cornerbacks get burned so bad. Also we need a linebacker that can cover the field and help shut down the run. A linebacker like the kid out of Ohio,Laranidas or the ILB out of USC. I hate both of the schools but those two guys are what we need

It's time for the defense to get to a caliber level and be dominant. McKenzie and Harper can't do it all by theirselves. They have a lot of corners, LB's and DT's that will be in the draft and in free agent poll. I say we put Bush at slot and back returning punts and kickoffs. That's where he's more effective. Let Duece and newly accquired Pierre Thomas get the running load. By putting Bush in the slot, that stretches opposing defenses out even more than going out in a 4 or 5 wide receiver set.

Considering we have 2 RB's making $60million I'm surprised the Saints are under the salary cap. Should have better planned out the contracts where we would have had some money to spend on a CB or 5 the last 2 years.

The safety and cornerback position need to be strongly looked at. No team will have success if they give up 7 or 8 20+ yard plays each game. Let's get to the Superbowl next year. Go Saints !!!

Yeah, we definitely need to stack up on some defense. Our corners keep getting burned like theyre in high school. Mckenzie is good, but again, needs some help from the others. Offense is definitely great, but yeah, maybe we could put bush in a slot. We have a great team and need to take advantage of our players and stack the defense. Saints in the big one next year! Go Saints!

DEFENSE DEFENSE. The three key people saints need to sign are as followed: 1. asante Samuel CB from new england. He could make a HUGE impact with his physical and mental ability. He is proven , super bowl champ NOT like Jason David who also won a ring but this guy did it playing man and zone not just a weak tampa 2 D!
2. Keary colbert , huge play maker shadowed by Steve smith, would step in to the number 2 spot and compliment colston well! and with our 1st rounder Meachum from last year stepping into the equation and a vet like david patten. THis reviever core would be nice!

3rd. sign Arron Stecker back: with deuce coming back (and he will come back/maybe even take a pay cut) the running backs will be full with reggie and peirre as well. I will say this REGGIE BUSH NEEDS TO BE IN THE SLOT!!! As much as i hate to say it. he is not a between the tackle back, maybe on draws but he needs to be catching screens and flats and ALSO NEEDS TO BE RETURNING PUNTS AND KICKS!!!!!! The new fad in the NFL is to have a dangerous return man. We pay him the money to make plays and thats what he needs to do since he is not carrying the ball 20 +times a game!

DRAFT: get a young qb and start developing like the guy from hawaii brennan . Jamie Martin throws like a girl and I am surprised he is still on the roster. Other than that , our whole draft needs to focus on defense. GEt a STUD linebacker! get stud Tackle and cb's!!

thats all i got right now, thatnk you for reading the truth!

Marcus Trufant or Asante Samuel could be key CB's in the offseason for the Saints. I think eather one of these players could be a big upgrade over Jason David!!!
Now we do need a sideline to sideline LB. Who better than Karlos Dansby.
I think if the Saints could aquire both this LB and one of these CB's, than their first round pick should be Sedrick Ellis, or Kentwan Balmer. These DT's could beef up their pass rush and improve the run def.

How about some fantacy picks now... What if Darren McFadden fell into our laps at the 10th pick or oakland traded picks with us to give us a pick from the thrird to the fifth pick. OR they could trade down w/ the Bronco's for their 12th pick in exchange for their 2nd round pick than the saints could draft Colt Brennan and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in the second round. I know i'm dreaming but sillier stuff has happend before.

Here is the list of free agents we need to be considering:

WR: Bernard Berrian and Bryant Johnson. These two would give Brees plenty of targets. Please do not re-sign Devery Henderson!

LB: Lance Briggs!

DB: Marcus Trufant

2008 NFL Draft: 1st rd. Reggie Smith CB (OK) or Atoine Cason CB(AZ)
2nd rd: Martin Rucker TE (MO) Eric Johnson didn't do much to help out this year and Rucker would be a huge improvement.
3rd rd ?
4th rd ?
5th rd Kicker and get rid of Olindo!

Saints are going all the way next year and Payton is taking them there!
