Fox Sticking with Delhomme as Panthers QB

I have a great concern for the team. As a fan I am not enthusiastic about purchasing
tickets just to watch the quarterback give the game to the opposing team. I think we should make Garcia an offer. I have a concern that EVERYONE is aware of who the weakest link is on the team except the coach.

Fire John Fox and Jake Delhomme. There are a ton of better coaches available and we need to find a free agent QB for the rest of the season and try to trade or draft for a QB ASAP.

I will not be renewing my season tickets next year if either stays.

I like Delhomme as a quarterback and I am a Carolina Panthers fan. Delhomme really disappointed me in the game. May Coach Fox should have seriously considered keeping Michael Vick on the Panthers team. As an American, the salary that he received along with other top sports figures should make everyone realize that America has her priorities wrong. No man in any area of sports is worth that much money. Why not pump some of that money into areas of needs for the American people ( homeless, hungry and the uninsured).

I missed the game as I was driving back from Georgia, but the playbacks seem pretty obvious. Several of his turnovers were just missed catches by receivers, and another was poor pass protection. It isn't always the quarterback's fault even though an interception goes on the quarterbacks resume.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think Delhomme has finally ran his course here in Carolina. After his Tommy John surgery he just hasn't looked the same. If Jake has another bad game against Atlanta and/or Dallas, I could see Moore starting after the bye week.

I was really disappointed in Jake this last game. This is an embrassment to our state and he needs to retire. I cannot believe his contract was renewed. Can I get a job for the Panthers? The only job qualification (obviously) is to be a fan of the opposing team.

The Panthers made a major mistake signing Delhomme on for another 5 years and to pay him that much to be doing a crappy jobs just tops the cake off. I think that the Coach and everyone who may say they back Jake Delhomme up are very blind and need serious help!At this point, Michael Vick would have been just fine instead of the crappy Delhomme! The Panthers are in deep trouble. Neither their running game or passing game had any success against the Eagles. The Eagles were just better prepared and much more agressive than the Panthers. Coach Fox needs to get the line blocking and the guys on the team to play up to their abilities. That's what he gets paid for! I've never been a big Jake Fan but I do believe no matter who was at quarterback on Sunday that the Eagles would still have kicked their butts. Shame on the Panthers for not playing with more emotion.

I am appalled at this decision. Jake has gone down hill each and every season and he no longer should be the starter. He makes the worst decisions when it comes to passing the ball. The only reason the Panthers were successful last year was because of the running game of Deangelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. The fact is Jake simply can't perform at the level an NFL quarterback should be able to.

Jake has lost his touch, the Panthers need to let him go. In his last 2 regular season games in 7 quaters he had 9 interceptions and 2 fumbles... He is GARBAGE, how did he get a new contract in the off season????
