Young's decisions please coach

Evidence of Vince Young's struggles was on display for everyone to see in Friday night's preseason game against the Raiders, and if you missed the game it showed up in black and white on the stat sheet.

Vince Young has had more free passes in the media, locally and nationally, than any other player in the NFL. He is an embarrasment to the Titans, but they can't say anything negative about him because VY is Bud Adams' guy. Insiders have acknowledged that the coaches have had to dumb down the offense, more than even they thought they would have to, just so Vinny could understand it. He still has problems with it.
Also, if he is called out on anything, he gets angry, pouts, and stops working. Coach Heimerdinger doesn't say anything to him, even though he rips the other two when they need it. Hardly seems fair, that's because it isn't. Vince Young is a whiny baby, who sulks when he doesn't get his way, and the team morale is very low because of him. He is not NFL quarterback material.

Remember listening to all the longhorn ‘sheep’ and all that hype because VY was a great COLLEGE player. I’m glad that has quieted down. Rookie of the Year was a sham. I’m not a Jags fan but Maurice Jones-Drew was robbed that year. The press that gave praise to VY all year were practically ignoring the Titans’ big play defense, special teams, running backs and their offensive front line who were really responsible for winning games.

Finally the truth is coming out, VY is not the leader of the Titans as he was previously proclaimed and if VY was supposed to make those around him play better why does it only work with the opponent’s defensive backs and not his oun receivers?

Is VY athletically gifted? Yes, but he is NOT a starting caliber NFL quarterback. As for those who say VY is not even close to his future potential … I agree, he’s just playing the wrong position. Maybe he would make a decent slot back … if he can catch a pass from the backfield. I would love to see them try it.

VY is a primadonna that has no idea of what's going on in the backfield. Can you believe that some folks here in Htown are still crying about the Texans not picking VY up over Super Mario Williams? All they see is Madison, UT and the color of his skin (unfortunately). VY does need to change positions and shut his mouth. I recall when McNair first came out of college, they said he was not bright enough to run an offense, but he proved them all wrong. VY will never get to where McNair took the Oiler/Titans.
