It all comes down to anger management. These younger generations can't handle it when they don't get their way.

They should both be fired and lose the hefty salary they are paid. If anyone else with a real job would start a fight at work, they would terminated immediately. Why is this not true in sports??????

C'mon guys! You are 2 grown men who get paid an arm n leg to play a professional sport. If ya can't play without throwing punches, you shouldn't be on the team!

Awesome play, two players passionate about winning and being the best. Those of you who watched it know the refs over reacted only because it was preseason, regular season they would have been bragged about for being competitive. You complainers about it. waaaah sissy big mouths.

There's a difference between being "passionate" and down right stupid! So, they throw a couple of punches at each other for what reason? To see who is more "manly"? And I use that term loosely! They get paid a lot of money to play "professional" football.....start acting professional and earn that money that you are obviously overpaid!! The people who made comments are not sissy big mouths, they are people who have common sense enough to see that this is an outrageous way to act over a "preseason" game! What did these guys prove? Nothing but getting their butts benched and making themselves look stupid! Yea, I really put them up on a pedestal! DUH!

The only mannerly sport is golf. Maybe they all need to take a lesson from golf.

Yes, golfers don't throw punches, they just throw their clubs in a tree when they get mad! They also throw around a few curse words when they don't hit the ball right! Only know because my back yard is a tee to a golf course.

Wow..some of ya'll need to lighten up. These guys are young men, got angry and went 'Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots'. Yes they were thrown out, and I'll bet they never make that mistake again.

Jeezus, it's just an exhibition game..

You're being more than a little silly. You can't be fan of a sport that encourages people to take the heads off their opponents with vicious hits, and then demand that those same players be fired any time they lose their tempers and bounce a few harmless punches off each others' face-masks and shoulder pads. Of course you're right that if people start brawling at your job site they're going to be fired, but comparing whatever cubicle-monkey employment situation you have to an NFL playing field is ridiculous.

I'm guessing you don't watch much hockey.

I say let them fight like in hockey. when it goes to the ground you break it up. then you don't eject them, you just make them sit in a box all by themselves for a few minutes. an adult time-out so to speak.

And our kids are supposed to look up to these so called professionals that can't read past the first grade level? LOL. And teaching kids that it is ok to punch someone when you get angry. That is some great parenting skills. LOL. Idiots. They need to remember that kids are watching sports and wanting to grow up to be like them.
