Blah Blah Blah Who gives a crap? Just crown the cowpies already! NOT!! I just can't believe all the negative sports articles in the home team area this week. Its disgusting! The cowboys aren't as good as they seem. Sure, they have had a 4 game stretch where they were in a must win situation but overall, they aren't all that. The Saints have been coming close to faultering long before the cowboys came along. Then they played the redskins who almost beat those same saints. As for the eagles, they are an old team with old coaches that didn't have the team prepared to play. The two eagle games were played at Dallas which is a lot easier than playing them on the road.

Vikings win this game!

Dallas has been on a roll, but their shortcomings sit squarely on Romo and Phillips. The Vikings get ahead, and Tony will unravel like a cheap polyester suit.
Wade Phillips will keep an eye on Jerry J., so he can show the same emotion as the owner.
All of America will rejoice when dallas conjures up a pitiful performance at the dome.

Gee, maybe the Vikings shouldn't even show up for the game. Apparently, with all the stories I've read this week, the Cowboys are not only "America's team", they're also Minnesota's team.

Of course the Cowboys are good. ALL playoff teams are good. That doesn't mean their not beatable.

GO VIKINGS !!!!!!!!!!

Adrian Peterson will have a monster game. Romo will be running for his life against a speed rush unlike any he has faced this year. Favre shines with two TD's. Vikings get control early and never look back. Final score 24-10 Vikes. Local and national media have a post game dinner. Only item on the menu CROW!

You know, here's the real deal about this ESPN and The Cowboys are going to win and all that: The NFL, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Fox and all the rest are money driven. Whatever makes, or potentially makes, them the most money is the favorites. Apparently they figure they can make more money with a larger market team like the Cowboys than the Vikings.

Early this year Favre was all over the place in the media. He made them money by the attention he was getting in their stories. Now, for whatever reason and because they are smarter people than me, all the money companies figure maybe they could make more money backing Dallas. Maybe because they wanted a re-replay of the Vikings/Packers in the playoffs, I don't know. But the national (and local) media attention certainly and noticably has shifted from Minnesota to Dallas. And that might not be bad.

I hope being protrayed as the underdog and the lesser team will bring out the beast in the Vikings and they take the Cowboys apart. Just to see that pompous egotistical arse of a Jerry Jones spin in his $1000 suit would be fun to watch.

I guess your Packers found that out.

I like the fact that the Cowboys haven't won at the Dome since a 23-17 OT win in 1995 and have a long winless streak here. The Vikes have defeated the Cowboys three straight times @ home including a 27-10 win in the NFC WC game in 1997. Just funny the papers and ESPN haven't mentioned that instead of continually crowing the Vikes are in trouble, McKinney's in trouble, Allen is in trouble blah, blah, blah. Just maybe the Cowboys are in trouble. Go Vikes!!!!

The Cowboys defense is similar to GB 3-4 and look how the Cards shredded the GB defense. It looked like you attack the middle of the field, use your three wideouts speed Harvin & Berrian and the size of Rice and go underneath with Harvin. When they use a cover 2 that doesn't account for you when you use 3 wideouts because you are always going to have one guy down the middle one on one. Favre can pick them apart here especially if they stay in a zone. If they go man to man this gives the Vikes an advantage with their 3 wideouts and by using Shanico in the seam at times and the backs using screens and dinks. The Cards also exposed the 3-4 against the run with a 2 back tandem picking up over 150 yds. All the experts pick the Boys and look what happened to most of their picks last week, they are at home watching. Go Vikes!!!!

Dallas defense, yes they limited and contained Philly's running game. Doing the same against the Vikings running game is quite a daunting task. That is going to be the difference; because with a veteran like Brett, has the ability to identify coverage, match-ups and react quickly and deliver a big play. The Viking's defense has to hold their end of the bargain, good form tackling, Minnesota can prevail.

Agree with many of these posts - what's with all the doom and despair spewing from the media (including local)? How in the last month do the Viking become a team that has no chance and the Cowgals become everyone's Super Bowl flavor of the week? I'm waiting for the story describing the game as likely Favre's last in Purple... As long as Clueless gets out of the way and lets #4 run the show everything will be fine.

Who's hot? "but in the past three games, they have outscored the opposition 75-14."

Past three games... that's 12 quarters of football. The Vikes put up 74 in their last 6 quarters.

I think it will boil down to turnovers and how Brett Favre plays. Dallas won't have it as easy controlling the ball as they did vs the Eagles.

I wouldn't get too excited about that. It was against crummy teams.

Priceless...a Packer fan reduced to commenting on spelling errors.

Vikings match up well against the Boys, but our offensive front line will tell the tale.
