It is a shame about Jeremiah. Everyone liked him. A guy comes, busts his ass and when they are tired of him, it is bye bye. I am glad I don't play professional sports really.

Get real- football is a business and the players know that. When Takeo Spikes proves to be a better MLB, you all will be cheering. It was the same with Deuce Staley, Jeff Garcia, and everyone else that the Birds let go after they passed their prime. I loved Trot, but times have to change in order to be a perennial contender, so get over it and move on. BTW, the Eagles never usually do something like this unless something big is in the offing, Maybe they trade Holcomb and Dirk Johnson for a marquee linebacker?

He Joe, I am pretty real in everyday life holding a responsible position in a big company. I sometimes think organizations forget about the people that got them there and see them only as an asset. I like loyalty also and that builds memories. I regret they dumped Garcia. I wonder if you would feel the same if your boss comes out before week's end and says hey Joe we really appreciate what you have done here ,all your loyalty over the years, but we have another guy we can get for less who is better and younger, has more education and credentials. So long pal.
What you will come to realize is that all we are cheering for is a decal on a helmet. If that is the case than you don't need to know who is playing, keep your helmets on, just let the decal win. If you see those guys as human beings with hopes and dreams who are getting their bodies broken up, people who shook your hand at Lehigh, someone who signed your football and chatted with you, then it takes on a whole new meaning.
