Vikings lose bidding war for receiver...

The Philadelphia Eagles won a bidding war Thursday for free-agent receiver Kevin Curtis , signing him to a six-year contract worth up to $32 million and reportedly including $9.5 million in guarantees.

It would have been nice to use some of that cap money on Kevin Curtis rather than Drew Hansen.

But what do I know, "I'M NOT A GURU!"

I get the Philly stations.I'm only 80 miles away.

Philly stations are saying it was the QB in Minn. that decided things.Minn. offered more money but he is saying Minn.needs a QB. I guess that last game Vikings/Rams he saw something he didn't like.
The visit to Minn. was probably about the cash and what were the vikings doing about a qb......guess he didn't like the answer.

That is unfortunately what I had feared. I didn't think a veteran wide receiver would spend time waiting for a green quarter back to mature.

I guess it goes to show that "money" isn't everything. But a potential shot at the superbowl is a big factor!
