I kind of wonder if Darrick Brown would be good. I'd still go for SS Roy Williams.

Do you remember when we signed a bunch of "washed up players" with names like QB Rich Gannon, WR Jerry Rice, DB Rod Woodson, RB Zack Crockett, LB William Thomas, & CB Eric Allen just to name a few? It brought much needed leadership on both sides of the ball rather than just Tim Brown and Steve Wisnewski on offense and Greg Biekert on defense. It also encouraged stepping up of younger talented players like C Barret Robbins, CB Charles Woodson, DL Rod Coleman, LB Eric Barton, and TE Doug Jolley. End Result: We won more football games. I really think Roy Williams and Tank Johnson both would be good additions to our defense and help us stop the run.
