game but I don't see alot of ND and Miami fans coming to EP for New Year's Eve. I've been here in EP for about a year and there was NOTHING to do last NYE... and Cincy?...LOL...and downtown shuts down after all the Koreans go home. The Sun Bowl needs to take a page from the organizers of the Fiesta Bowl and take note of how they turned the Fiesta Bowl from a small Sun Bowl-like game into a BCS bowl and with the help of ASU and downtown Tempe...their block party is one of the top places to be in the US on NYE. Plus by the looks of some previous posts, there won't be any tickets for actual out of town ND/Miami fans.

Best matchup ever for the Sun Bowl. This game will require SRO tickets. Both programs are excited about being here,sell-out in three days.

Each school has an allotment of tickets for their fans to purchase.

You can expect a sellout and probably SRO tickets sold as well.

Dude, I guarantee you 10k ND will buy tickets by tonight...they don't travel based on venue, but rather their team.

Please lets not bust out the mariachis at the airport. Getting old! Sooner or later youre gonna have to start thinking of something new to greet these teams. Hell if you want to play the stereotype of El Paso, why dont we play "Im Your Puppet" while transporting the athletes in stretch "low riders".

ND has been living off their grandfather's past accomplishments.
For the past 20 years, they have been over hyped and irrelevant in college FB.

I will enjoy watching the hurricanes give them a royal spanking!!!

Maybe old to you but players and coaches love it - especially if they have never been here. Read Stanfords comments - they were impressed!

Besides - the Mariachis are a tradition. If you don't like it, to bad. Nothing but a tacky sarcastic post.
