Eagles add Vick to 53-man roster; Baskett released

Michael Vick can throw passes to his teammates instead of ball boys. The Philadelphia Eagles elevated Vick to the team's 53-man roster Tuesday, a move that allows the quarterback to practice with the team.

That's nice he had a special for the Vicktory dogs but when you load a question by saying, "Does a guy deserve a 2nd chance?" Who is going to say No to that.

I believe in 2nd chances.

I just know that this is nowhere near only the "2nd Chance" for that serial killer. You know yourself he's been torturing and murdering dogs since he was 10 years old.

By him wording the question the way he did...you watch and see how many brain dead sheep say, "Duh, Yes, he desevedly, deserves a 2nd chance."

Well, I sent him my opinion which I hope he gives input that I think his second chance should have been somewhere besides the NFL right after prison.

Well this was written on the Sack vick site today after the show i didn't watch.
I just watched the Dr. Phil episode and it was refreshing to see that there are other people out there who feel that Vick should not have been reinstated. The one thing that bothered me was when the gentleman from the NAACP said it was a racial issue…I have to disagree. I am a black woman, a dog owner, a PA native, and a former Eagles fan. I even was a Vick fan when he was in Atlanta. This has never had anything to do with race. If a white janitor had been convicted of dog fighting and not shown any true remorse, I would be against him going right back into his profession as if he was just on vacation. It is time to stop making excuses and own up to what you have done. Vick can pay millions of dollars but it won’t make a difference if he cannot honestly feel some sort of remorse for the lives he has ended and/or ruined. I do believe in 2nd chances but you have to earn it. I would rather see Vick make amends by volunteering his time towards preventing animal cruelty before he is awarded the opportunity of making millions of dollars.

I totally agree with you. I guess the corrupt, criminal, NFL owners don't want to let that happen because how can they exploit a man for his athletic prowess if he's off somewhere else doing the right thing.

The NFL owners are a bunch of profiteering, amoral scumbags.
