I am a die hard Jints fan and I think Stradog brought his value down for the Giants seeing how well the Giants played at left D end. Justin Tuck has been playing good hard football during strahans absence and he is a lot younger and cheaper. I feel good about the giants D line even when Strahan retires.

Well whoopedy doo!! Strahan is like a blister, he shows up when the work is done. The price he should pay for sitting out training camp, is keeping his mouth shut. I don't want to hear him popping off, the first time adversity rears it's ugly head.

its possible that strahan, because he missed so much pre season training, and playing, could wind up with a serious injury while playing in the first game of the season, and having to miss the following two or three games. he may have just played himself off the roster because of his nonsense.

I seriously would love this guy to just get hit by a bus, enough with this monkey.

Simple equation: work=success. The work that strahan didn't do in training camp will lead to a proportionate decrease in the success of the giants (and, as well stated above, possible injury...).

does anyone else view this as a veteran player not wanting to go thru the drills and hard work of training camp? now camp and preseason are over and surprise surprise, he wants to play. didn't he have about 6 months to decide if he wanted to play or not? did he really need 4 more weeks? i am sick and tired of seeing this same storylike in the news each year... some veteran who doesn't want to participate in two-a-days or risk injury in meaningless preseason games decides to hold out. then once the real games get here, they all of a sudden want to be part of the team. it makes me sick. there should be some rule about missing training camp; fining them is useless. maybe the amount of days you miss training camp will be the amount of days you miss the regular season. no one will hold out in fear of their replacement doing well and becoming the starter. i predicted the result with strahan on the second day of the hold out. now only if i can predict my football pool picks that well.

Just as I figured, Strahan's real goal here was to skip pre-season, which is not a bad idea, judging by all the pre-seaon injuries.

Interesting how when its a black guy, everybody's criticizing him, yet there was no criticism of Pete Kendall.

I have never wanted anything more in my life than for Strahan to suffer a horrific, painful, career-ending injury on his first play from scrimmage. Please GOD, let this happen!

Let it be known right here and now that I am criticizing Pete Kendall.
Now as far as Strahan, the ultimate team leader only in his own mind is concerned all the season ticket holders can tell all their children that you no longer have to work hard for what to want. You can be "just like Mike". Oh and my son just informed me that at least Kendall was in camp.

I posted back when this started that he'd be back in September. He just wanted to avoid the 2-a-days, and he had the money to buy his way out of camp. What a piss-poor teammate and example he set...and the rest of the guy are expected to go to war with this guy every week. What a puss.

Now watch as his agent negotiates away the fines

Welcome back Michael.

WILL YOU PLEASE STOP MAKING THIS A BLACK AND WHITE ISSUE. THIS IS ABOUT A GREAT FOOTBALL PLAYER, WHO LIKE BARBER IS PUTTING HIMSELF ABOVE THE TEAM. IF THE GIANTS HAVE GUTS, THEY SHOULD CUT HIM.

Criticizing is one thing, saying you hope he gets hit by a bus is another. All I know is that in two of the last three years, Strahan got hurt and the team stunk without him. Of course, it's not a good thing that he's hurt in two of the last three years, but he did go to training camp those years.
