You made excuses for the white boys' adultery; BEING FORCED TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT; Manning being disciplined for gambling; and attacking and breaking a teammate's jaw.
Stop wasting your time defending the indefensible. Learn how to spell, take some English, grammar, and comprehension courses; before you attempt to "word-fight" with me.
For good measure---STFU grand stupidiot.
I'm glad you take such pride in the english language. Now if you could only get some of your cousins to do the same maybe you could climb up from the bottom of the totum pole! Comprende!

I think if he is available bring him in on a one year deal.. Plax can really help this offense spread it's wings but make defenses respect our wr's but give the offense a lot of confidence. If plax causes problems then the bears can cut him lose but I think he would be on his best behavior. Things for some reason seem to be finally turning around for us and if the bears get plax then they are the #1 contenders in the NFC. Our defense is going to do great this year because they will not be on the fuels as much as they were last year. Plus with our special teams cutler will soon realize that he hill only have to move the ball 50 60 yards instead of 70 to 90. Can't wait for the season to start!!!

If Burress comes to the Bears on a one year incentive laden contract, more than likely he would do very well. He would have every incentive to do well and every dis-incentive to not mess up.
Exactly. We would get his best season. He would be playing for a new deal so why would he give less than his best performance. So what if won't win NFL man of the year. I've got other roles models. Like Eugene Robinson.

The next stray bullet might miss his leg and wind up in someones head. This isn't about race. Its about brains. You make millions Plax. Hire a bodyguard if you want to go to clubs bonehead. I'll take a pass.
We will be fine at receiver. Hester has been steadily improving and has a QB that can actually hit him in stride. Bennett might not be a sharp tack but the chemistry with Cutler is there (watch the highlights). Da Baears don't need to make any knee jerk moves. We just aren't used to having a real QB.
I love the B.C. reference by the way!
Hester will now start to drop the deep ball or forget to run the deep route. We are not fine at receiver. His improvement is noticeable only because he was horrible to start and now is less than adequate. I cringe whenever I see someone excited about Hester and his "deep ball" potential. The average nfl pass isn't 20 yards, it's around 7. When Hester learns to run a route and get open, then let's mention him again.

This post is retarded!! He broke the law and should be punished for it. He could've killed himself or someone else. If he wants protection hire a body guard! Growing up in the "hood" is no excuse! Playing in the NFL is a privilage not a right!
Playing in the NFL is neither a right nor a privilege. It's a job related decision between to parties looking to maximize their earning potential.

I couldn't have said it any better...

I remember a play where the DB was getting really physical with hester. So the next play Hester trys to get even ... The only problem is the next play was a timing route to him.. Luckily he tied up the DB enough that the DB couldn't pick the ball off becasue it would have been an easy TD. He couldn't wait for a running play to get even. He had to do it when the balls coming to him.... Thats why I cringe... By time he has the mental makeup of someone like Torry Holt he'll be Torry Holt's age.

That's a very great observation David about Burress. Adding him would further damage player -management relations. As it is, most players(off the record) are really steamed about the Orton trade and the way management shafted Kyle.

Thomas, I am a Orton fan but how can you say "off the record" most players are steamed about Orton? How was Orton shafted? He gets to throw to real receivers, have an actual functioning OC and his protection just went up more than a bit. KO isn't steamed or at least he shouldn't be.

PB could be AN answer for the Bears, not THE answer. And the question will, apparently, need to be asked next year at the earliest.

Forget jailbound Burress; 2-steps slower Harrison, 1-step slower Holt, or "notfor a 2nd round pick" Bolden. Chad Johnson has already given up $250k holding out, and NOT for money - but to be traded to a "contender." The guy was a TOP FOUR NFL WR three of the last four years and never gets into "real" (police, etc) trouble but is only "attention contraversal" which ALWAYS works in Chicago (MacMahon; Rodman, etc.)and would be 'easy' for Cutler to deal with after Travis Henry and Brandon Marshall. He is "IN" his prime and has a HUGE chip on his shoulder to PROVE something. He'd not only take pass pressure off Cutler; he'd even help take 'publicity pressure' off too. How realistic that the Bungles will trade him? Its being reported all over NY that the Giants are likely to get him - and they may not even have to give up a two pick. HE's the guy - NO ONE else available or Draftable comes close.

I think the risk of bringing in Plax would be worth it. Plax knows he has to be on his best behavior. Plus with this year being a one year contract and that being a contract year. I think Plax will put in his all with the Bears. Plus he will have a chance to play with an elite QB for a team that will give him a chance to get another ring. Plus if Plax ends up being a problem. Then Chicago can always cut the guy and rid themselves of him. So I say bring the guy in. If we do take a chance on Plax the Bears have to be considered one of the top 3 teams in all the NFL and the front runners in the NFC which I already think they are with my boy Cutler and now a fresh Pace coming in to protect him. Why is it only April and not the start of the season. This will be the longest off season I can remember in wanting to see my Bears play. Its been a long time since I have been this excited to see my team play. Thank you Angelo for listening to us the Fans and finally bringing Cutler home.
