The Bears need a good WR. Yes i agree that we may have sleepers that were drafted this year or last but we still need someone who has the tools to contribute now. Anquan Boldin is the favorite candidate, but what about Marvin Harrison? Yes he has aged and slowed down a bit but he could show everyone else how to run clean routes. He was notorious for faking out DB's with his double moves and one of the best at getting open while being double covered. If he could teach and mentor the WR's we have now, the Bears would be set and primed to make a deep run into the playoffs as far as offense is concerned. Defense, we need a good safety. I agree 100%, and a couple of good corners would be a great addition. Tillman still has talent but Vasher looks like he's afraid to hit people. If we are going to have good pass coverage you cant be afraid of contact. Vasher was one of the best a few years ago, but after his injuries he looks like he is afraid to do what he has to and that is drill people and pick off passes. If he doesnt step up by week 4 of the regular season, i say we trade him for someone better.

What kind of NFL teams does NOT practice tackling?
Answer: A losing one that can't tackle.

Lovie Smith is 8 games over .500.
The Bears were 13 - 3 in the 2006 season which was 10 games over .500.
Take away the 1 season, and Lovie is a below .500 coach.
The man is out coached almost every single Sunday of the season. How many times do we have 2 see the Bears unprepared 2 play 2 realize lovie is weak?
While your at it, since you are taking away Lovie's best season, take away his worst season; then whats your math???

Playing "what if" is right up there with comparing one era's players to another... it just doesn't compute.

Funny how many fans know what Lovie says in the locker room, or instructs his asst's, or says into his mic on gameday.

It's funny that so many fans know this info. I sure don't.

Name a coach in any sport that hasn't been second guessed?

Just as Lovie's record speaks for itself, and one could say "We could have won some games we lost, and we won some games we probably should have lost" ...

Best to let it be.

No "what if's", we are what we think we are.

Lovie needs the time and more years to keep working towards the one goal in football, just changing the head coach etc, means years of retooling.

ANd Lovie never had a QB to work with in compiling that record. Just relax Wavey-Gravey ... see what happens.

So let me get this straight, I don't think the Bears are a well coached team, so I'm a loser? What kind of logic is that? Please explain. I'm trying 2 have some dialog about the Bears, but all u guys want 2 do is make insults. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
you have nothing positive to say ever. not 1 positve post. you're a negative nancy. you probably blame everybody else for your mistakes, nothing good to say about your wife. your just a loser that never has anything good to say. eat a cookie, you might feel better

How will defenses defend the bears now?
With Hester a threat to get a deep ball now, Forte should have some holes.
Everything is magnified now that Chitown has a legitimate top 5 QB.
Just two months away, bebe !!!
And Green Bay will be our first victim, SWEET!
