The general manager of the cowboys doesnt know how to put together a team. The cowboys have perhaps the highest payroll yet this team just doesnt click. it is time to replace Jerry Jones with a general manager who knows how to build football teams instead of how to market a franchise. The writers in Dallas are too chicken to hold him responsible for his lack of skill. As long as Jerry Jones is the general manager, the cowboys will remain a mediocre team.

I agree, The Cowboys have plenty of talent but they are becoming professional foot shooters. They have never been consistant, or at 100% potential under Phillips, and probably never willbe. Cowboys need to lose Phillips, Campo, and Garrett, and find a guy who can bring the best out of these guys, and if Romo stays inconsistant, they should lose him as well.

I've said this all along in that Tony Romo will never measure up to the likes of Roger and Troy. He has no leadership skills and is overated. He is a good quarterback but in the CFL or a minor pro franchise, not with the big boys.

Jerry jones is the problem he needs to stick to the business side of the team and let the football know how people do their job.

Talent is everywhere in the nfl not just dallas. These are the pros after all and no team wins on paper. On any given sunday any one team can win.

Exactly! Thats why its so important to find a coach who can get them to perform, who can put the package together. Phillips has had several years to prove he is NOT the guy for Dallas.

Maybe its not the coaches maybe its the players them selves, too much talk about playing in the super bowl on their home field.

Well that is always a possibility, but when a good team flutters about for several yrs, its usually a sign they need some new leadership.

I hope the Cowboys continue with what they have going.I never thought they could top coach Campo and his Fbomb tirades,But to see Wade standing on the sidelines looking like some guy at the old folks home with a load in his shorts is priceless. Its not the coaches, its not the players, its the owner. As long as he keeps managing this team they will continue struggle.Tony Romo is the highest paid second string QB ever. Its time to let him go do what he really wants to do,be a pro golfer.JJ is an idiot.

Its funny when these owners fire off their coaches, they then just go out a choose some guy from the list of old fired off coaches, and they have the same trouble all over again. LOL Why dont they show some guts and inginuity and go out and find the next great coach instead of just rehiring these old washed out farts. Its just a waste.
