If TO becomes a Bear, then I will not watch any Bear game. He is sooooooo selfish, it's not even funny. Last time I checked there was no "it's all about me, me,me" in team.
If we are that desperate to win, then I don't want to watch.

Wow. Just wow. This is an article written by the same guy who would torch T.O. as soon as he got here. As far as T.O., he's 35 years old. Does anyone realize how old that is for a wide receiver? Here's a hint. It's older than Muhsin Muhammad was when he got here. We've had decent receivers in Chicago. Curtis Conway was good. Check out his stats as a Charger after he left. Bobby Engram was good. Check his stats with the Seahawks after he left. How about Berrian with the Vikings last year? It's the quarterback situation people!!!

Are you crazy. This guy could turn us into the Lions in one season. The worst team player in the NFL.

Why? The Bears already had 2 star WR's they let go to other teams. Both of which burned them in the regular season games. They wont pay his high salary; the Bears are too cheap; otherwise they would have kept who they already had.

I agree 100%. If they don't make a serious effort to get Owens, they really don't care about winning anymore.

One more columnist I will never read again. That is the most ridiculous column I have ever read.

I absolutely despised Dennis Rodman when he was on the Pistons, then came to appreciate his contributions and put up with his antics when he joined the Bulls. It's like Jerry Seinfeld says, when it comes to sports, all we're really rooting for is laundry.

That being said, I don't think Owens would be a good fit. Forte is still going to carry the load on offense, and TO would be pleading his case by Week 3.

The article is spot on! If you don't want to improve your team, then go watch the Packers play. Otherwise, you take the best availible WR on the market.

You are nuts. No way. If 3 other teams can't handle his problems, why would the bears? They have a poor track record with players with problems.

Morrissey, you're an idiot. Why would you advocate for the Bears to bring a total malcontent to their team? If TO was so great, why have three teams given up on him? Here's why - he destroys any chemistry inside a locker room.

Let him go to the Raiders......the land of egos, bad attitudes and losers!!

Bernard Berrian is a good WR.....that's funny. He's not even in the top 25 wide receivers in the NFC. And the Vikings were dumb enough to pay him money like a #1 WR. LMAO! Curtis Conway was a good receiver in San Diego......OMG! step away from your computer, you are embarassing yourself.

Seriously? T.O. in a Bears uniform? This is a joke, right? The man is past his prime. Did he even watch T.O. the last couple seasons? How many dropped balls did he have? He is not a team player, he is is a distraction, and he seriously overestimates his talent.

Truer words were never spoken. Soooo Bears that they think they can scheme/win without a true wide receiver.

Not like we're making the playoffs without him.

Rick, I can't believe you wrote this crap. The fact the no team wants TO shows his unreliability. Ask yourself how many teams have gone to the playoffs because of TO, none. He may be a great athlete, but he's worthless as a team member. The Bears have enough trouble with record-breaking Marinelli.

Wow, even Mariotti didn't use exclamation points in his contrarian-for-the-sake-of-bei ng-contrarian articles. Boo, Rick Morrissey.

Worst. Columnist. Ever.

Seriously, you are like a 12 year old kid playing a Madden franchise. OMG! Terrell Owens is a free agent, he's rated 95. OMG I must sign him!
Do you pay attention to football at all? As far as I can tell you look at ESPN headlines (T.O. cut) then proceed to write mindless crap.
And we wonder why newspapers are going under...

And this is why I can't stand you writers. You know full well, as someone else already stated, you would make a living off ripping this guy to shreds as a Bear if given the chance, yet here you are stating we're crazy not to get him. So your opinion is not only ignorant, it's biased. Keep it up though...this type of writing has intelligent fans heading over to smaller blogs where the articles are based in reality, and the comments sections can offer some value, rather then just ripping the author to pieces. I don't even know why I'm commenting here. What's the point?
